Four of our elite squad came with an unconscious man after patrolling along the perimeter line of our small sanctuary. He was badly bruised with scratches all over his arms and torso. His face was covered with a black cloth bag, otherwise, he was…. completely naked. They dropped him with a loud thud on the cottage’s front porch. As Nico saw the man in all his naked glory paraded in front of me, he instructed his men to bring the prisoner inside our cottage after throwing a pair of shorts to one of our rogues to put on the captive.
“Explain!” Nico’s voice echoed on the walls of our small living room.
I wonder what was Nico’s fascination with the word ‘explain’. He uses it every chance he gets.<
