Chapter Five.

“I’m home, honey!” Noah’s voice rings out into and around the walls of the large house.

“And I can smell something good too! Is it my lucky day, my queen?” Noah asks as he gives a smiling Natalia a big kiss on her left cheek.

“How did your day go honey? You’re early today too.” Natalia asks as she tends to the cooking, doing her best to pay attention to Noah and to the food over the fire.

“Oh and sorry about the food. I really did not think that you would be back so early. But it would be done soon.” Natalia says with a smile.

Noah laughs and kisses his wife on her cheek again.

“It is alright, my little queen. I got here before I was supposed to, and once again, a happy anniversary to you!” He exclaims and Natalia turns to look at him, her face brightening up into a cheerful smile.

“And once again, thank you, honey. A happy anniversary to you. I am happy that we’ve been together for so long, and I hope that we do so for a long, long time.”

“So do I, my little queen. So do I.” He bends over and kisses her hair, taking in the scent of her orange flavored hair care product with a smile.

“Ooh, I have got something for you, Noah.” Natalia says and Noah leans over the counter as Natalie finishes up with her cooking and then turns the heat to its lowest level.

She rushes into one of the rooms and returns soon after with a small bag. She gives it to Noah.

He hums in amusement. “Oh wow, ear rings?” He asks with a smile. Natalia rolls her eyes and opens the fridge in the kitchen, bringing out a chocolate cake, Noah’s favourite.

“And a pair of heels too.” She says with a wink as she pushes the cake in Noah’s direction.

Natalia had gifted Noah an Emporio Armani watch, and a chocolate cake. With a smile, he was soon at her side and was showering her with kisses and a lot of praises.

Then Noah suddenly goes into the direction of the living room, returning with a bouquet of flowers— surprising Natalia as she knew that Noah hated it when flowers wilted. It wasn’t until the bouquet was handed to her that she had realized that the flowers were made of plastic after all. And apparently sprayed with different fragrances.

A clever copy of the real thing, but Natalia’s face was full of grateful smiles still.

And then he hands two bags over to her, making Natalia gasp. A jewelry set and a lovely dress with matching accessories.

“Noah, you didn’t have to.” She says, her voice breathy as she hugs the bags and flowers to herself. “Thank you very much. I’m so happy and I love you.”

Noah nods and decides to go into living room.

“Honey, I want to go sit, I’d give you time to finish up with your chores. Love you too.” Noah says and then proceeds to walk away into the living room, and Natalia puts her gifts down, and goes in to check what she had left to cook on the fire. Luckily, she had nothing to worry about as the food was just right.

Then she switched it off and took her presents in with her.

Natalia sits on the bed as she wonders how she could make it up to Noah, as she had felt that her presents were not on par with Noah’s.

He deserves more than that, of course! She thinks to herself with a frown.

Her eye catches the shopping bag with the contents she had surprisingly found earlier in it from the last time she went shopping with Wendy. Wendy had apparently dropped some sexy underwear, the ones she had asked her to not get specifically, into her shopping bag.

Natalia starts to wonder if Noah would appreciate it if she dressed up in such an attractive way for him, as she had never done that before. She has heard of it from books, movies and people though, and all the people the gear up was intended for had loved it, so why would Noah not?

With a sigh, and a few punches of bravery, Natalia stands up and locks the door, proceeding to change her lovely dress into an outfit that looked like what belly dancers would wear, only much more flimsier.

She shakes her head to clear it of any thoughts that would make her scamper inside and change back.

This is for Noah. She breathes out in a whisper as she makes her way to the door and unlocks it.

My husband deserves the best, and only the best. She nods as she walked towards the living room and leans against the wall, the way it is done in the movies and calls out to her husband, while batting her lashes at him.

“Hey honey!” She smiles and closes her eyes to subtly brush her naturally long lashes against the top of her cheekbones and then opens them to watch her husband.

Noah’s face starts to go white immediately and he opens his mouth multiple times to speak, but words could not form in his head as all he Can only make are incoherent sounds.

Natalia takes his wide eyes and mumbling as a good sign and so she struts towards him, her confidence increasing with each step. Noah shakes his head, and gets up, moving back as Natalia moves closer in his direction.

“W-what is going on, Natalia?” Noah splutters, finally finding his tongue.

“Pity, and I thought that it was this kitty that had your tongue.” Natalia says, slapping her hips. “At least you found it though.”

“What— where did you learn to speak like that? Where did you get this clothing?” He asks, his face reddening now.

“Well, if you must know,” Natalia says, standing and crossing her arms across her chest, smirking a little as Noah’s eyes moved downwards for a while.

“Wendy had got this for me.”

“You are lying!” Noah retorts harshly. “Wendy did not give this to you. Why would she?”

“What? Do you not like it? Don’t you think that it is attractive?” Natalia asks, her confident demeanor wearing off and her usual innocent doe look taking its place.

“What kind of question is that, Natalia? Why would you ask something so stupid?” Noah asks.

“Isn’t it obvious? My wife is dressed like a whore who just got a few hundred dollars and decided to spend it on buying clothes that would only fit the appearance of a prostitute! Yes, of course I like it. I love it very much.” He nods like someone who has suddenly been possessed by some negative energy.

“Wendy did not give this to you. There is only one explanation for this, Talia, my dear.” Noah says, letting his words hang in the air.

“You are cheating on me!” He raises his voice and Natalia’s eyes widen.

“You have the audacity to accuse me of cheating on you, when—” She takes in a deep breath and places a palm on her forehead in anger.

“After all I have done for you is love you and obey your commands. I made a lovely lunch and we gave each other presents. The day was going well until—”

“Until you showed up wearing a flimsy— outfit. Can this even pass as a bra?” He asked her angrily.

“I wore these for you! I thought that they would be nice, that you would love them. Or love to take them off, actually.” Natalia shook her head.

“What is wrong with you? Why are you ruining the anniversary of our special day, huh?” She grunts in annoyance.

Noah rubs at his nose and then turns his head to the other side.

“You are right, I’m taking it on too much. I’m sorry for comparing you to a whore and for accusing you of cheating on me. I know that you would never do that. Come here.” Noah says gently and spread his arms out for a hug.

The entire exchange that had happened leaves Natalia in the original, shy version of herself. She walks over to Noah gently and then hugs him, burying her face in his neck, too embarrassed to let go.

“But it was Wendy who gave it to you, was it not?” Noah asks, making Natalia’s breath to hitch abruptly.

“I have always known that woman to be the wrong kind of company to keep, and she’s completely a bad influence on you. You are so good and pure and she is so— fiery.” Noah grunts at the last word, holding Natalia in tighter.

“I honestly fear that one day, you would be just like her, running wild, no proper manners, just a pretty face and an overused body—”

Natalia cuts him in. “Noah, do not talk about Wendy like that. Stop, it’s rude!”

Noah pulls Natalia away and frowns at her. “I did not say anything that was not the truth though. Even if I did not use the nicest of terms, I did not lie.”

Natalia sighs. “Noah, life happens. Even if it’s true, you should not say things about her in disdain. She is your friend!”

“My friend who has been rubbing off on you in many more ways than one, obviously. This whole thing is disgusting to me. The way you are speaking, speaking up for her, defending her. The way you’re dressed like her. Dressed in what someone like her would happily wear in public. She’s shameless anyway, and she is trying to make you shameless too.

You are not following my instructions properly, taking my advice. I am trying to save you, Talia my love. Just let me.”

“I just think that you are taking things too far. It is true that she is not the among the most decent of humans, but she is still humans regardless, and no human is perfect.” Natalia says.

“You were so close to being perfect until she started to rub off on you though.”

“Noah! Please, shut up! This is making me very uncomfortable.” Natalia shouts, her voice heavy with anger.

“How dare you raise your voice at me, Natalia? Have you forgotten that you are speaking to me, or did your manners decide to evade your presence suddenly?” Noah spat.

“An after effect of spending too much time with Wendy. Or maybe, an after effect of hearing me apologise twice. Give a dog a mile to run, and it runs mine more, doesn’t it? Hearing me tell you ‘sorry’ had given you the illusion that you possess some sort of power over me, had it not?”

“No. It is definitely not like that, Noah.” Natalia says quietly. “I was not trying to rile you up, I just wanted you to stop saying mean things about her. She’s my friend, you know?”

“And now your friend has caused our special day to go wrong. Even without her presence, she still manages to disturb our peace. How?” Noah shakes his head.

“I just wanted today to go perfectly.” Natalia says as tears start to move down her face.

“Well, that can still be arranged.” Noah goes to her and holds her chin, wiping her tears off.

Then he pulls the strap of the material covering her bosoms. “You know what I like, Natalia. Would you, please?”

He asks, giving her a sweet smile.

Natalia nods gently. Noah had a fetish for well worn clothes and rough sex. Natalia did not enjoy any of that as it all felt demeaning to her. Walking away gently, she changes her apparel and goes back to the living room, where Noah lay on the sofa, waiting.

Natalia stands in front of Noah, dressed in an old, torn dress.

“Do as you please, master.” She says and Noah grins in a wolf-like manner.
