Valerie's POV

The air seemed to shift as the door to the posh Bentley swung open. First, his squeaky-clean black dress shoe hit the ground with a thud, and all the workers stood still, every one of them pausing in their tracks as their eyes fixed on the luxurious car with a mixture of awe and reverence.

I glanced around a bit and sure enough, even Rob had paused in his tracks, his usual composure momentarily replaced by a look of wonder.

Heck, even the temperature felt different. There was this commanding chill in the air, one that seemed to make the temperature to rise in anticipation, and he hadn’t even stepped out yet!
