“Wah…what are you saying, miss Hernandez?” Mrs. Thompson asked carefully, making sure she didn’t hear wrong the first time. But Valerie only chuckled in response, “They live with me now, Mrs. Thompson.” She confirmed, “Didn’t Charlotte tell you?
