“It is just a slice Jas, it is not going to hurt that much,” Jordan said holding the knife to take Jasmine’s blood for the ritual.

“What if I collapse at the sight of my blood?” Jasmine said looking worried and scared at the same time.

“None of that will happen, you’ll be fine,” Jordan said and she nodded gently.

“Don't cut it too deep Jordy” Jasmine said bracing herself for the incoming pain that she was about to endure.

“I won’t, I promise. Ready?” He said to her.

“I’m ready,” she said as she used her other palm to cover her face as she waited for the pain. Jordan gently ran the knife across her small palm and he could hear her suck air in from her mouth as she hissed in pain.

He drew blood from her hands into a jar after that he waved his hands above hers and the wound healed immediately.

“Did I hurt you too much?” Jordan said looking into her eyes with concern.

“Not at all, besides I feel a lot better now,” Jasmine said and gave him a gentle smile.
