Hunting Festival (2)

Its appearance is like a thunderstorm in the daytime at the peak of summer, and a nightmare at the beginning of the evening. A loud, deafening roar shook my heart. It wouldn't be surprising if someone said that it was the growling sound of a monster that had just chewed the head of a guard.

“AAAAH!!!” The screams of the humans were mixed with the cries of the monsters that drew closer to where I was.

Two large and tall monsters, with several human heads attached to their bodies, as if showing off their victim. As the name implies, this is a hunting festival, but for monsters who find human prey scattering here and there in front of their eyes. Once swoop, they can kill one or two humans.

What a grotesque view.

Some of the guards were seen fleeing from the scene in horror. The remaining guards are willing to trade their lives to protect the humans behind them – mostly consist of the aristocratic ladies who are not used to running in their
