The rising dead: Revelation

The creature quickly caught on fire, the dress, the flesh and bones, soon enough it was engulfed by the flames and soon she became ashes, luckily the house didin’t suffer the same fate.

Thomas ran to the kitchen for a bucket of water to treat Elizabeth’s wounded hand and Michael knelt down sobbing, the blond detective was whining of pain as her hand would soon be submerged in the water.

It was a hasty and blurry moment, so many emotions packed in so little time: Elizabeth, high on adrenaline and in pain, and Thomas scared for Elizabeth, trying to process all the things that happened.

As the ashes lay on the ground the truth hit Elizabeth like a bucket of water, Thomas said puzzled “So it’s Maggie?”.

The woman clenched her hand around his arm, her eyes still in shock as one single tear fell down her face “It’s-it’s…It’s not Maggie, It’s Mrs Martin, she-she-she is the necromancer” Thomas looked at her eyes as she tried to fight her trembling voice “We need to get to Meredith, FAST”
