Chapter 5

Two families were gathered Inside the most expensive Sovereign Hall in the Rigart Hotel.

One of them was Eli Kauffman and his family, who had a long history in Creek Valley. The other was George Lang and his family. He was the founder of Lang Corporation.

"We'll be family from now on, Eli!" George said with a laugh. He had a square face and big ears.

"It all depends on what Chet thinks," Eli said coolly while sipping tea.

There was a good-looking young man seated next to Eli. It was his son, Chet. He was also Michael's older brother.

Chet's gaze was focused on the woman seated opposite him.

She was wearing a white dress and looked beautiful in it. Her skin was fair, and her eyes were like a pair of glimmering pearls. She was gorgeous.

Lust flashed in Chet's eyes. This was a woman all men wanted. The only thing Chet did not like about her was the little girl in her arms.

She was cowering in Selena's arms, glancing at the strangers surrounding her with a frightened look.
