“Bailey?” I said this time while pulling on her arm. I watch as she blinks and clears her eyes.
She looks at me and smiles. “Yes Eve?”
“What’s going on? It looked like you noticed something.” I asked her as the gentleman sat our drinks on the window counter.
“That will be $8.75 girls.”
Bailey pulls a ten-dollar bill out of her pocket and puts it on the window counter next to the cups before grabbing one and me grabbing the other. “Keep the change sir. Thank you.” She said before turning around and slipping out of my hand.
I also thank the gentleman and turned around to follow her. I notice that is still scanning her surrounding but still walking at a leisurely pace.
