I have been laying in this bed for three hours and sleep will not come. I’m afraid my tossing and turning is going to wake Walker up so I get up and go to the bathroom and do my business. When I walk out, the thought of lying down isn’t appealing. Something inside of me is feeling restless.
Maybe if I go for a walk it will help. I slide a hoodie on over my tank top and smooth it out. Thankfully it covers my butt too. I love leggings because they are comfy but I don’t like my butt hanging out.
I walk over to the door where our shoes are and put my tennis shoes on. Grab my small knife that I always carry on me and the room key and slip in to the pocket on the leg of my leggings.
I slip out the door, closing it carefully behind me and go across the hall lightly knocking on the door. When it opens I smile.
