Eric's POV

“You're seriously bleeding, Agatha. We need to call the doctor,” I concluded, trying to pull back towards the house, but she resisted, still bent on saying something.

She looked shocked. Like she had received the most shocking thing in her life. For the first time, my sister appeared fragile and speechless as I paused, waiting for her to say whatever she had to say to me.

“She... She...”

I sighed and rubbed my eyes, exhausted.

“Let's get you inside first, and relax, then you speak.” I countered, forcing her back to the house. After so much resistance, she nodded and trailed behind me.

Whatever my sister had seen was indeed traumatizing that left her numb.
