He appeared calm and contemplating whatever the old woman was saying, while she looked at him.
Pedro clenched his fist under the table. Mrs. Simons was just sitting across him and he knew that he needed to be careful.
He also knew she was a dangerous and powerful old woman that he couldn’t underestimate.
