Third Person's POV

Luke felt incredibly awkward with this man who claimed they were mates, sleeping on the couch in his parents' living room. Every time he was home, he couldn't escape his intense gaze. It caused his heart to palpitate and butterflies to dance in his stomach. Every time he sees the man, he wants to climb in his lap and bury his face and his neck… It was a strange feeling, and he didn't like it.

Once he was certain Benjamin was in the bathroom, Luke snuck out of his room. He took that opportunity and sprinted down the hall before quickly leaving the apartment. The Omega didn't stop until he was banging on his best friend's door.

Rose smiled as she opened the door and stepped back, allowing the Omega to burst inside their apartment. It's become a habit of Luke's for the past two weeks.

Luke burst into Joey's room and shrieked before backing out and closing the door behind him.

Rose looked down the hall in concern before she started giggling when she realized what happ

Third Person's POVRose gasped when the front door opened, and she saw her son in tears. “Joey! What's wrong, baby?” Rose asked as she jumped to her feet and ran to her son. She immediately noticed the way he was holding his right arm. As Luke explained what happened, Rose moved Joey's left hand away and gasped when she saw the large ugly bruise on his wrist. An angry growl vibrated behind Rose when Nick saw the large bruise on his son's arm. “That idiot thought he was in there trying to watch them. I don't know how he could be so stupid and thick-headed! He knows Joey is afraid of Alphas!” Luke said.Rose looked up when Nick stormed out the front door. She looked at Luke, whose eyes were wide. The Omega was tempted to follow Nick. He wouldn't mind watching someone put that big idiot in check, but he knew his best friend needed him, so he stayed. “Come on, let's get some ice on this,” Rose said as she guided her son to the couch. She quickly disappeared into the kitchen, grabbing i

Third Person's POV Benjamin couldn't get over how night and day Luke was with him now. The Omega that once ran from him now can't keep his hands off him.Luke giggled as he straddled Benjamin's lap on the couch. His right arm wrapped around his mate's neck, and his left hand tangled his fingers in his hair while he tasted his mate's kiss. He couldn't get enough of Benjamin's magical kiss. His tongue felt like heaven wrapped around his. He loved the way Benjamin's tongue searched his mouth and the way his hands caressed his body. The two lovebirds were so lost in each other they didn't hear footsteps walking down the hall. Noah came to a halt, stopping his mate in his tracks, when he saw his son making out with his mate on the couch. He was surprised he wasn't angry and even more surprised by how happy he was. He supposes maybe it's because, for the last two weeks, everyone has witnessed Luke's desperate attempts to avoid Benjamin. “He finally feels the bond,” Michael said through t

Third Person's POV Lexon carefully watches Ezra as he uses his abilities, looking for flaws in his execution and fighting ability. The Elder is impressed with his fighting skills. He was impressed with his abilities until just a few moments ago. Ezra almost seems confused and frustrated as he rapidly switches between abilities. He growls in frustration as the swarm of enemies begins to overpower him. He growls again as he slaps his hand against the light switch and grabs the forehead of the closest vampire, not only electrocuting the one he's holding but the ones touching that vampire. His focus intensifies, and the lights flicker as he draws more power from the light switch. He focuses on the electrical current; Evelyn jumps and covers her head as the light bulbs above begin bursting. When Ezra lets go of the light switch, the bodies of all five enemies fall to the floor. “What happened there?” Lexon asked as he focused on the last vampire and watched as he ripped his own heart ou

Third Person's POV Tate enjoys the warmth of her body pressed against him. Their legs tangled, her head resting on his chest as her fingers delicately trail along his body. It's a soothing sensation, but he can't wait for the day he can feel tingles under those fingertips when she touches him. “It's getting closer… are you afraid?”“No,” Tate replied.“I am,” She said quietly, and he kissed her head. “Don't be scared,”“How can you be so certain?”“Because I love you! Because I think about you all day long. From the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep,” Tate said, but the very next moment, he was surprised when his mind drifted to those blue eyes and the adorable way he tilted his head. He could almost hear the sound of his giggle, and his lips tugged up.“What are you smiling about?” Chloe asked as she rested her chin on her hand. “Nothing, just a thought from earlier. Stop worrying your pretty little head. We're mates. We wouldn't feel this strongly for each other if

Many books lie in Ezra's lap, ones Julian hasn't read yet. The one he's currently reading is held in his hand. As Julian flips the page, Ezra glances down, and his lips tugged up at an old book his dad tried to sneak into his pile of books to read: Good Night Moon. The book is old and raggedy, but his dad still loves it. “Oh, I love this part!” Julian exclaimed excitedly as he nuzzled in against Ezra. The soon-to-be vampire King smiled as he wrapped his arms tighter around his Dad. He rested his head atop his dad's as Julian continued reading. Ezra closed his eyes and enjoyed their snuggle session as he listened to his dad read. Reid paused as he entered the room, and his heart swelled at seeing his mate snuggling with their son. Each time he witnessed it, he cherished it, afraid it might be the last. He never knew wh

Third Person's POV Everyone spun around, taking a fighting stance, but relaxed at the sight of Vincent. “Jesus!...For fuck sakes!” Vincent whisper-yelled as he grabbed the wall with one hand and held his right hand over his heart, trying to collect himself.Vincent turned, giving Lexon a look that let him know he wasn't happy that he scared him half to death, before looking at the two kings. “Fucking A! It's been a long time since I've seen you guys! You little Rugrats grew up into young men!” Vincent said as he eyed the two young men he hadn't seen in nine years. Ezra stiffened and wanted to crawl out of his skin when the stupid vampire pulled him into a hug and nearly squeezed the life out of him. “Damn, look at you! You're almost a king! Shit, buddy!” Vincent said as he slapped the King's back. Ezra's body jerked, and his eyes widened when Vincent slapped his back a little too hard for his liking. “Anyway,” Vincent said as he pointed at Grayson. Grayson raised an eyebrow and

Third Person's POV The ice dancing in the wind around Grayson fades as his powers slip away. The wounds he has sustained are proving to be too much for the soon-to-be Alpha King, and he stumbles before falling to the ground as they pull him down. The sound of Grayson screaming in agony causes Ezra's blood to run cold. He feels his brother's panic and fear and stumbles before growling and swinging as fast as he can. His fear of losing his brother, and the fear of losing this opportunity that they have chased for so long, is consuming. It twists and swirls inside him, churning and building. That fear quickly turns to rage, and it begins to build, causing immense pressure to build within Ezra. His chest heaves and his eyes burn bright. His aura becomes so thick it almost consumes all the air in the room, causing all the enemies to slowly back away in fear. His eyes move throughout the room, landing on each face of his enemy surrounding him. His snarls of rage grip his enemies with fe

Third Person's POV The doorknob was too hot, so Evelyn ripped off the bottom portion of her shirt and wrapped it around the doorknob. She slowly cracked the door open and was relieved there were no longer flames. She stepped into the hall and looked left, the direction they came from. She could feel the heat coming from that direction, but there were no flames. She looked to her right and saw a door at the end of the hall. Evelyn didn't wait; her feet carried her as fast as they could and she quickly reached the door. She tried the handle, and it was locked. She growled in frustration before ramming her shoulder against it over and over again until it finally gave way. The door flung open to reveal stairs leading down. Her heart jumped, and she ran down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs she had the option to turn right or left, she turned right, and came face to face with a large metal door—this one was larger and more heavy-duty than the door up top. Evelyn turned the knob,

As they stopped before Alpha Gregory, sweat beads formed on his forehead.Once standing in front of the Alpha, Darien was surprised. Like the pack house, the Alpha looks like he aged a decade. The Alpha stands tall, arms folded over his chest, eyes narrow. He looks Darien over before looking at the man holding Darien's hand. “What the hell is this? What happened to that asshole you left with?” Alpha Gregory asked as he pointed to Wyatt. “That's one of the things we wanted to talk to you about, but not out here,” Wyatt said. The Alpha glared at him before huffing and nudging his head, signaling to follow him. When they entered the pack house, Darien's heart felt like it stopped when his eyes landed on his father. I can't see them hating you,” Wyatt said, wiping the tears as they fell from Darien's eyes. The submissive Alpha shook his head and placed his hands on Wyatt's chest. “What if they hate me? What if they think I shouldn't exist, just like everyone else did? I can't… I-” Darien's chest rapidly rose and fell as each breath became harder.“Shhh. Baby, please… calm down. Third Person's POV Darien slowly walked through the apartment, looking at everything Wyatt had before meeting him. Most of the stuff in the apartment was something they had picked out together or something Wyatt picked for their new place. The rest were things Wyatt already had from his life before him. The submissive Alpha was curious about those things. He looked at the pictures and smiled when he saw pictures of his mate as a child. He thought Wyatt looked adorable. He saw pictures of Wyatt with his brothers and sister, pictures of Wyatt with his parents, and pictures of Wyatt with friends. There wasn't much more than pictures in the living room, so the submissive Alpha wandered down the hall and into Wyatt's office. There, Darien found more things from Wyatt's past. A bookcase along the right wall had a shelf dedicated to little clay statues that looked like a child made. Darien picked up a little heart and examined it. When he flipped it over, he smiled when he saw “Love Luke

Third Person's POV It's so dark. Why didn't they turn the lights on this time? The pain is unbearable, and he screams as they break his leg. It's been too long since he's eaten or drank anything; his scream comes out broken and airy. Red hot pain shoots through his body as they sink their fangs into his skin and forcefully drink what little blood he has left. He feels his body become even weaker as they drink what little life he has left. Somehow, he knows this time this is it; they'll go too far, and he'll never see her again. A tear rolls down his face, and he screams one last scream for her, screaming her name, “EVELYN!” Nadja screamed as he sat up, gasping for air as he reached for her. He feels tingles on his face as someone grabs it and forces him to turn his head in their direction. His eyes land on her beautiful, concerned face. Her hands caress his skin as she wipes the sweat from his face, pushing his soaked blonde hair back from his forehead. “Evelyn,” Nadja whispered, te

Third Person's POV The Omega dries his hands and looks in the mirror. A soft smile forms on his lips when he sees the shiny gold resting on his head. His crown isn't as big and elaborate as Ezra's. It's smaller, more delicate, and just the right size for his small frame. The gold peaks look beautiful against his brown chocolate curls. Roman reaches up and runs his fingers along the beautiful metal. It's smooth under his fingers. The color shines under the bright lights in the bathroom. The metal is flawless, and Roman can't stop admiring it. His eyes flicker between his and his dragons as they admire it. Roman gasped when Ezra appeared behind him with a smile on his face. Ezra’s hands rest on Roman's hips, causing his stomach to flutter.“You look absolutely breathtaking, my beautiful queen,” Ezra said softly as his head dipped, lips pressing to the Omega's neck. Roman's eyes closed. He pulls his lip between his teeth and tilts his head, reaching back to touch his King. Tingles dan

Third Person's POV Roman couldn't pull his eyes away from Ezra, not even as Nadja spoke. He heard the Elder address the crowd but couldn't pull his eyes away from Ezra's face. The way his mate looked at him held his eyes captive. The king’s eyes swirled with emotions. Ezra didn't take his eyes off Roman as he brought his hand to his mouth and kissed it. He didn't want to let go of the Omega's hand, but he had to. His hand opened, and the Omega's hand slipped from his grasp as he stepped back. Backing away from Ezra, he bowed his head and allowed the king to turn and face the crowd. Ezra looks out at his people as Nadja speaks. His eyes land on his family sitting in the front row. He sees pride in his father's watery eyes, and tears stream down his dad's face. His dad holds his newborn daughter close to his chest, and Grayson stands tall beside his father. Evelyn watches with a proud smile as she stands next to Julian. Ezra's eyes move further down until they land on Silas and Azrae

Third Person's POV The Omega was so nervous he felt like he was going to vomit. He fiddled with his clothes nervously and hoped his hair looked okay. The Omega wore a traditional wedding suit from his realm that all royal Omegas wore. The suit was linen, a thin fabric perfect for their warm tropical weather. His colors were cream with gold stitching and accents. His pants were neatly ironed, and a traditional dragon wedding vest was fitted over his chest, leaving his arms fully exposed. It wasn't your typical vest. The front overlapped, buttoning off center over his left breast. The buttons and stitching were a beautiful color of gold, matching all the gold jewelry that decorated his body. Gold cuffs spiraled down his upper arms, and bracelets lined his wrists. Rings sat upon every finger, all except one. That finger was completely bare, waiting for his King.A thick gold choker sparkled around his neck, and earrings lined his ears with cuffs along the top. His skin glowed, his lip

Third Person's POV “I want to have your baby.” Aero was in shock as he choked on his spit, coughing. Naham tried patting his mate's back, but with each cough, the elder's cock moved inside him, causing the Omega to moan. The Elder wanted to laugh; here he was choking, and the Omega's hips moved with each cough, rutting against him. When Aero stopped coughing, he looked down at the Omega in shock.“W-what?” He couldn't have heard the Omega right. The elder had to ask his mate to be sure. Aero has never thought of children. It was the furthest thing from his mind. He never planned to settle down, and he never planned to take a chosen mate. But he also didn't plan on having a fated mate. Having Naham has changed everything. The vampire that used to have sex with someone different every day was deeply and madly in love with his little dragon. His heart and world revolve around Naham, and he has never been happier. But does that mean he would want children, and would the Omega really w
