I Love Wyatt!
Third Person's POV Lexon carefully watches Ezra as he uses his abilities, looking for flaws in his execution and fighting ability. The Elder is impressed with his fighting skills. He was impressed with his abilities until just a few moments ago. Ezra almost seems confused and frustrated as he rapidly switches between abilities. He growls in frustration as the swarm of enemies begins to overpower him. He growls again as he slaps his hand against the light switch and grabs the forehead of the closest vampire, not only electrocuting the one he's holding but the ones touching that vampire. His focus intensifies, and the lights flicker as he draws more power from the light switch. He focuses on the electrical current; Evelyn jumps and covers her head as the light bulbs above begin bursting. When Ezra lets go of the light switch, the bodies of all five enemies fall to the floor. “What happened there?” Lexon asked as he focused on the last vampire and watched as he ripped his own heart ou
Third Person's POV Tate enjoys the warmth of her body pressed against him. Their legs tangled, her head resting on his chest as her fingers delicately trail along his body. It's a soothing sensation, but he can't wait for the day he can feel tingles under those fingertips when she touches him. “It's getting closer… are you afraid?”“No,” Tate replied.“I am,” She said quietly, and he kissed her head. “Don't be scared,”“How can you be so certain?”“Because I love you! Because I think about you all day long. From the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep,” Tate said, but the very next moment, he was surprised when his mind drifted to those blue eyes and the adorable way he tilted his head. He could almost hear the sound of his giggle, and his lips tugged up.“What are you smiling about?” Chloe asked as she rested her chin on her hand. “Nothing, just a thought from earlier. Stop worrying your pretty little head. We're mates. We wouldn't feel this strongly for each other if
Third Person's POV Ezra sat reclined in the snuggle chair with his Dad. Only these days, instead of being wrapped up in his dad's arms, his dad is wrapped up in his. Many books lie in Ezra's lap, ones Julian hasn't read yet. The one he's currently reading is held in his hand. As Julian flips the page, Ezra glances down, and his lips tugged up at an old book his dad tried to sneak into his pile of books to read: Good Night Moon. The book is old and raggedy, but his dad still loves it. “Oh, I love this part!” Julian exclaimed excitedly as he nuzzled in against Ezra. The soon-to-be vampire King smiled as he wrapped his arms tighter around his Dad. He rested his head atop his dad's as Julian continued reading. Ezra closed his eyes and enjoyed their snuggle session as he listened to his dad read. Reid paused as he entered the room, and his heart swelled at seeing his mate snuggling with their son. Each time he witnessed it, he cherished it, afraid it might be the last. He never knew wh
Third Person's POV Everyone spun around, taking a fighting stance, but relaxed at the sight of Vincent. “Jesus!...For fuck sakes!” Vincent whisper-yelled as he grabbed the wall with one hand and held his right hand over his heart, trying to collect himself.Vincent turned, giving Lexon a look that let him know he wasn't happy that he scared him half to death, before looking at the two kings. “Fucking A! It's been a long time since I've seen you guys! You little Rugrats grew up into young men!” Vincent said as he eyed the two young men he hadn't seen in nine years. Ezra stiffened and wanted to crawl out of his skin when the stupid vampire pulled him into a hug and nearly squeezed the life out of him. “Damn, look at you! You're almost a king! Shit, buddy!” Vincent said as he slapped the King's back. Ezra's body jerked, and his eyes widened when Vincent slapped his back a little too hard for his liking. “Anyway,” Vincent said as he pointed at Grayson. Grayson raised an eyebrow and
Third Person's POV The ice dancing in the wind around Grayson fades as his powers slip away. The wounds he has sustained are proving to be too much for the soon-to-be Alpha King, and he stumbles before falling to the ground as they pull him down. The sound of Grayson screaming in agony causes Ezra's blood to run cold. He feels his brother's panic and fear and stumbles before growling and swinging as fast as he can. His fear of losing his brother, and the fear of losing this opportunity that they have chased for so long, is consuming. It twists and swirls inside him, churning and building. That fear quickly turns to rage, and it begins to build, causing immense pressure to build within Ezra. His chest heaves and his eyes burn bright. His aura becomes so thick it almost consumes all the air in the room, causing all the enemies to slowly back away in fear. His eyes move throughout the room, landing on each face of his enemy surrounding him. His snarls of rage grip his enemies with fe
Third Person's POV The doorknob was too hot, so Evelyn ripped off the bottom portion of her shirt and wrapped it around the doorknob. She slowly cracked the door open and was relieved there were no longer flames. She stepped into the hall and looked left, the direction they came from. She could feel the heat coming from that direction, but there were no flames. She looked to her right and saw a door at the end of the hall. Evelyn didn't wait; her feet carried her as fast as they could and she quickly reached the door. She tried the handle, and it was locked. She growled in frustration before ramming her shoulder against it over and over again until it finally gave way. The door flung open to reveal stairs leading down. Her heart jumped, and she ran down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs she had the option to turn right or left, she turned right, and came face to face with a large metal door—this one was larger and more heavy-duty than the door up top. Evelyn turned the knob,
Third Person's POV “Wait! Roman! Grab Roman,” Nadja begged, and Lexon came to a halt.“Who?” Vincent asked. “He's down there,” Nadja points behind Lexon.“Here,” Lexon said as he tossed the keys to Grayson. Grayson walked down the aisle, scanning the cells, and was surprised they had such a large cell block with only two people in it. “Wait, he'll be scared without me,” Nadja said when Lexon began walking toward the exit. Lexon stopped as Grayson stuck the key into Roman's cell door. He slowly entered the cell and felt bad when he saw the Omega trying to make himself as small as possible, tucking himself into the corner as if trying to disappear. “I won't hurt you,” Grayson said before Nadja called out to Roman. “Roman, these are the people I've told you about. They're here to rescue us. Let him carry you out,” Nadja explained , and the Omega slowly peaked his head up from his arms covering his face.Grayson's lips tugged up at the sight of the Omega's beautiful brown eyes. Eve
Third Person's POV Aero couldn't think of anything aside from getting his mate out of there. The little dragon consumed his every thought; his only instinct was to get him to safety. The Omega dragon was frightened by the strange sensation and began looking around. He was shocked by the sudden blur and quickly buried his face in the vampire's neck. The movement ceased, and he slowly pulled his face away from the Vampire’s neck. His eyes widened, and he gasped when he saw they were no longer in his cell room. The room they were in now was more beautiful than anything he had ever seen. Red and gold decorated the walls and drapery. A large lavish bed sat in the middle of the room with tall poles at all four corners. Sheer fabric draped over the top, causing the Omega to reach out and touch it to see what it felt like.As his eyes scanned the room, he barely noticed the person holding him began to move. He barely noticed the person who held him in his arms until he felt fingertips ligh
Third Person's POV Darien stood in the closet, buttoning his shirt. His mind raced with all the different scenarios of things that could go wrong. He tried not to think of it but couldn't stop his thoughts from racing. What if they didn't like him? What if they hated the fact he was a submissive Alpha and thought he wasn't good enough for their brother? His thoughts spiraled out of control. He had just finished buttoning the last one and gasped when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind him. His strong chest crashed against his back as his arms quickly wrapped around him. Darien smiled as he tilted his head, giving his Alpha access to his neck, which he quickly accepted. Wyatt buried his face against his skin, nuzzling and kissing him.“You're right, maybe we shouldn't go. Maybe we should just lay in bed and snuggle all night. I'm having withdrawals; I need to drown myself in you,” Wyatt's voice was muffled with his lips pressed against his mate's neck. Darien's heart fluttered when the Al
Third Person's POV Grayson's laptop was long forgotten on the little table next to him. The Alpha lies on his side in the daybed, staring at his mate. He loves the Delta's smooth, pale skin and the way his dark, straight hair lies against his forehead. He loves how he chews on his lip while he reads and tilts his head when he doesn't understand something. He loves the time they are spending together, quietly sitting beside each other outside on the balcony, sharing the silence. “So… My job wouldn't be to fight for our people?” Sebastian's soft voice broke the silence. Grayson's heart swelled when he called them “our” people.“No. Your job as Luna is to make sure everyone who cannot fight gets to safety in the event of an attack. We have several bunkers. Normally, we use the two bunkers in the basement of the pack house. In extreme cases, we use the large one under the field beside the pack house, but we haven't used it in a long time. That one is big enough that everyone in the pack
Third Person's POV “I can't be a Luna; I'm just a Delta 3. All I know is how to be a pet. I don't even know how to be your mate,” Sebastian told Grayson before Ezra went to take down Luther. The book Sebastian was reading suddenly goes flying as Grayson grabs him from the sofa chair and falls back against the couch, wrapping him tightly in his arms. Sebastian laughs as Grayson buries his face in his neck, and his light stubble tickles his sensitive skin.Grayson's heart swells; Sebastian's laughter is music to his ears. He takes a deep breath in of the Delta 3's incredibly sweet scent, and his chest rumbles in satisfaction. The sound coming from his Alpha sends a shiver down Sebastian's spine. “I was studying,” Sebastian said, biting his lip when he felt Grayson's warm breath fan his neck. “It was taking too long! I feel neglected,” Grayson mumbled against his neck, and Sebastian's stomach fluttered. The Delta 3 pulled his head back and looked at Grayson. “I didn't mean to negl
Third Person's POV Ezra has been standing outside Lexon's door for several minutes, trying to get the courage to go in. He reaches up to knock on the door but pulls his hand back and exhales, letting his hand drop to his side. Ezra hangs his head as he turns to walk away, but the door suddenly opens. “Leaving so soon?” Lexon said, and Ezra slowly turned to face him. When Ezra looked at Lexon, he was relieved to see how well he looked. His skin looked completely normal, and his hair was just past his ears. “You look good,” Ezra said as he moved closer. He reached for Lexon's hair but paused when he saw Aero standing a few feet behind Lexon. “Come on in,” Lexon said as he stepped aside. Ezra swallowed before entering Lexon's room. When he entered the foyer, Aero turned and walked back into his brother's bedroom. Lexon nudged his head for Ezra to follow, and he did. As he entered the Elder’s bedroom, he found Jace sitting on the bed, watching a movie while crocheting. Jace looked
Third Person's POV Jace was concerned when Lexon slept the rest of the day, through the night, and into the following day.He was relieved when his brother-in-law knocked on the door late afternoon. Jace grabbed Aero's hand and quickly dragged him to their bed, where Lexon lay asleep. “Should I wake him? He hasn't woken up since he came home. I tried to give him blood, but he said he was too tired and needed a nap. That was yesterday! He hasn't woken up yet! Should I wake him?” Jace said as he tugged at his fingers, looking between his mate and brother-in-law. Aero wrapped his right arm around Jace and ruffled his hair.“He's okay. He was just exhausted. His body is working overtime to heal his body. Your skin is the largest organ in your body. He was burned from head to toe. 100% of his skin was burned off. I can tell the difference already. His skin is no longer transparent, and his hair is beginning to grow. See, look,” Aero said as he pointed to the stubble growing on Lexon's he
Third Person's POV Darien was excited but nervous. It was not only the first time he'd cooked in two years but also the first time he'd cooked for Wyatt. Wyatt's nose immediately flared as he entered the apartment. His eyes darted around as he closed the door and didn't stop until they landed on Darien. His eyes moved from Darien to the kitchen table, and his lips parted. For a moment, Wyatt is unable to move or speak. His lack of movement makes Darien even more nervous, and realizes he made a mistake. “I, I can make something else if you don't like spaghetti and meatballs. I, I should have asked you first if you liked it. I can whip something else up,” Darien said as he picked up his plate and Wyatt's. Wyatt was beside him instantly and took the plates from his hands. He set them down before grabbing Darien's waist with his left hand and pulling the smaller Alpha toward him. “I love spaghetti! I was just surprised that you did this for me. I wasn't expecting it,” Wyatt said soft
Third Person's POV Darien had a hard time falling asleep. He kept staring at the door and wishing Wyatt would walk through it. The minutes ticked by, and sleep refused to come. Darian glanced at the clock and decided maybe just a little peek would do. As quietly as he can, Darien pulls the blankets back and climbs out of bed. His sleep pants hang low on his waist, and his bare feet are silent against the wood floor as he walks down the hall. He pauses when he realizes the TV is on in the living room. But after a moment, he wonders if Wyatt fell asleep with it on. He didn't think he was watching TV; the sound was off. As quietly as he could, Darien walked into the living room. His heart raced, afraid of getting caught. He was relieved to find the Alpha fast asleep. His eyes were closed, and his lips were parted. He looked so peaceful, Darien thought as he stepped closer. He let out a quiet breath as he sat on the chair beside the couch. He put his elbows on his knees and rested his
Third Person's POV It felt so strange walking through town like a normal person again. It felt strange to be free. Somehow, the alpha next to him makes him forget how strange it is. The way his eyes sparkle with happiness as they walk hand in hand down the street. The way he opens the door for him, keeping his body between him and the road, showing chivalry, and making him feel special. It's something he never thought he would feel after what happened to him. He never thought anyone could possibly accept someone like him, but this man does. Wyatt does it so effortlessly. Darien smiles as Wyatt pulls him into another store. “What kind of art do you like?” Wyatt asked as he pulled him toward the wall of paintings “Maybe we can hang something behind the couch; what do you think?” Wyatt asked as he looked intently at the paintings, studying each one.“Um, I don't know. I think I like this one,” Darien said as he pointed to a large rectangular painting that would fit perfectly behind t
Third Person's POV Ezra stood in the bathroom with his hands against the counter, staring into the sink. Images flashed in his head of what he did to those he loved. Nadja warned him what the darkness could do, and he believed him, but he never thought it would happen to him. He thought he was stronger. He thought he could control it. Ezra found out the hard way that wasn't the case. He remembers recognizing them, but He also remembers thinking they were insignificant. Whatever love he felt for them was no longer there. They were below him and an annoyance that he wanted to get rid of. He remembers what it felt like to hold Nadja's throat in his hand. He felt so powerful holding the ancient life in the palm of his hands. He remembers what it felt like to want to kill him, but what hurts the most is the reason he dropped his flames in the first place: his father. It wasn't because his father made a connection and was close to bringing him back from the darkness; it was because he fel
