Chapter 15 - Samael

Aurora tugs up her pants with a scoff and stands beside me, glaring down at Isaac, “what do you know about me?”

Isaac doesn’t look at her or respond, he spits at her feet, and I wrap a hand around his throat. My claws extend, piercing into his flesh and his blood spurts out, soaking my hand in its warmth.

“What we are not going to do is disrespect the most powerful creature in this kingdom. You are nothing to her, Isaac. You are the dirt at her feet. She could kill you in the blink of an eye. You are insignificant and unimportant, and the only reason you are still alive is because I enjoy making you suffer, and you might still have information that could be useful to us.”

I feel the tips of Aurora’s fingers trailing across the back of my neck and I can’t help the shiver that goes down my spine every time she does that. Isaac finally looks up at her and his eyes widen as she smiles at him.
