Chapter 12 - Aurora

I wish I could have Samael’s composure. He looks so unbothered by everything. I noticed it at the council meeting too, he stayed quiet while Seth did most of the talking and he just kind of glared at everyone the whole time. Even now, he stands staring at Dimitri with his arms crossed, a slight frown on his face, but other than that he looks almost bored.

He turns to face my father, “I have to go check on my spy. He was supposed to bring Isaac back, but things took a turn it seems. I will go find him, and when I return we will make a plan to get your mate back.”

My dad nods, and I see the sadness in his stormy eyes. I feel bad for calling my mom by her name but I'm having a hard time seeing her as my mom right now.

Samael looks at me, “do you want to come with me, or would you like to stay here with your father?”
