Chapter 29: Danger 2

"Isang shot lang ng tequila, Tim," ani Sophie sa kaibigan pagdating nila sa bar ng isang sikat na hotel sa Pasay kung saan ginaganap ang after party ng fashion show. Alanganin niyang ipinalibot ang tingin sa paligid. The room was filled with celebrities, socialites and other  local showbiz personalities.  The loud chatting and laughters plus the upbeat rhythm from the DJ's booth were  drowning the whole place. She's afraid she can't even hear her own self.  She sighed. She never got used to that  kind of crowd. It gives her a headcache. Maybe she'll never get use to it. But her work forced her to always be in attendance on such events. Kaya kailangan niyang tiyagain.

Just a few minutes more, she convinced herself.
