Chp 15 Pt. 1 Skeletons in the Closet

When I wake for once I don’t panic that Gunner isn’t here. I can smell him all over his pillow which relaxes me. I read his note and smile. I would like to go find him but he must be busy since he has been gone for so long. I hope that it didn’t have a huge impact having their Alpha absent while saving me. I find that all my belongings have been placed in my room so I go through them and find something to wear. I’ll put it all away later, I want to see the rest of the pack house. When I walk out of my room I bump into Hunter.

“Good morning Luna.”

“Please Hunter, it’s just Kat.”

“Not out here. Maybe in your office or room, but out here you are our Luna and should be respected as such.”
