Chapter 7

James was furious when Elio ruined his expensive suit. These rich young heirs were usually spoiled and domineering, and he was no exception. He cursed, his expression livid as he swung his fist at Elio's face, "You motherf—"

However, before James' hand could even make contact, Elio let out a scream and fell back, knocking over the contents of the neighboring table. He quickly recovered before any of the food landed on him, but the guests who had been mocking him were not as lucky. They were completely covered in food scraps and spilled water.

"What the hell?! These clothes are brand new!"

"Ahh, I shouldn't have come today. I'm all filthy now…"

The guests cursed and wailed, making a complete mess of the wedding banquet.

Elio's in-laws all leaped to their feet, stunned. Their useless son-in-law had ruined the wedding!

Lana’s face turned red. "He's a curse, I tell you, a curse! Nothing good ever happens when he's involved. We shouldn't have let him come here and embarrass himself!"

Evelyn’s face was cold. She could tell that Elio had done everything on purpose. Hmph, he was as mean as he was incompetent. Her cousin's wedding was utterly ruined now, and she would inevitably become a laughingstock in the future. However, Evelyn was not angry. Instead, she felt a hint of schadenfreude.

James grabbed a chair. His eyes were bloodshot, and he looked just about ready to fight Elio to the death. However, his relatives held him back while the other guests backed away, shouting in fear. The hotel hall was as noisy as a market.

Sienna stomped her feet in anger and screamed uncontrollably, "Gaaah! You good-for-nothing lout, you started this scene on purpose! I'll never forgive you! Charlie, Dad, Grandpa… Come here and punish him!"

Sienna's father, Harry Jones, was the eldest son of the family and the general manager of the family business. He was the patriarch's favorite. As for Sienna's eldest brother, Charlie, he was the eldest grandson of the family and carried high expectations on his shoulders. In other words, Sienna's branch carried a lot of weight in the extended family.

Charlie was the first to rush to the scene, looking utterly livid. "What the hell are you doing, Elio?! Know your place!"

Elio feigned innocence, pouting. "But I didn't do anything. Can't you see that he's threatening to throw a chair at me, Charlie? Why are you blaming me instead?"

"Shut up! You don't get to call my name…" Charlie really wanted to beat the crap out of the guy himself. How dare that piece of trash cause so much trouble at his sister's wedding!

"Then what should I call you? Carlo? Kelly?" Elio deliberately rambled on. He was not afraid of Charlie. Their whole family was an ant he could easily crush under his foot!

The other members of the family were stunned. Had Elio finally lost his marbles? How could he mock the next-generation heir like that? He was doomed now.

Everyone else was just as surprised. They never expected that useless son-in-law to fight back like that. Did he have a death wish?

However, someone to their left burst out laughing at the wrong time. The Joneses glared at them until they saw who it was. She was a beautiful woman in her mid-twenties, with round eyes and red lips. Her sexy figure was accentuated by her skin-tight dress. She had curves in all the right places, and her beauty was breathtaking.

The Joneses immediately deflated when they saw it was her.

Her name was Yvonne Sue, and she was another one of Cloudsea's most beautiful women. She came from a wealthy family and had her own company under her name. Although she was young, she was very capable. As such, she was known as the Flaming Rose.

Meanwhile, Evelyn was known as the Icy Lily!

The two women had completely different personalities and deeply disliked each other.

Charlie was in his thirties, with a tall and imposing figure. Right now, though, he was completely exasperated. If not for his status and pride, he would have pinned Elio to the ground and beaten him up by now. He gritted his teeth and said, "You idiot, just you wait and see! I'll make you pay for what you've done."
