Chapter 11

In order to win favor with the master, Shaun did not go easy on the Joneses and Sampsons at all. Compared to Elio, those two families were nothing.

At the same time, Shaun thought that Old Master Jones was a blind fool. He had the biggest gold mine right there in his backyard, yet he was shamelessly currying favor with the Sampsons. If he really wanted his family to flourish, the old man should just treat his grandson-in-law better. If he was a bit nicer to Elio, the Joneses could easily surpass the Sampsons in status.

As Old Master Jones left, Elio mocked him inwardly. Who did that old fart think he was? His wife was still paralyzed in bed, but he had already slept with his pretty young secretary. He was even beefing himself up with Viagra every day, as if he wanted to die by "overwork".
