Chapter 80: The strange woman.

“What, you’re my mate, I’m allowed to be shameless with you,” Arthur defended himself and he let go of Amelia.

If it had been a few months ago and someone had told him that he would have been like this with Amelia, he would have definitely ripped their head off their body.

But here he really was,. months after being all loving to Amelia.

Prior to meeting Amelia, he used to find it irritating when couples would display their affection in public.

He now however understood why they did it. It was just a natural thing to do when you really loved someone.

And in his own case, he also did it to mark his territory and to show that Amelia belonged to him. It was sending a warning to men to get their eyes off his mate.

“Get up, let’s go,” Amelia said and she dragged Arthur from his seat. As soon as he was up, Amelia helped him to adjust his tie and she dusted his jacket.

This small action of hers made Arthur smile to himself. “Why are you smiling,” Amelia asked after she was done.
