Chapter 86: Fight the mate bond

Everyone unconsciously turned to look at Adrian to see his reaction which they knew wouldn’t be good.

And just as they had expected, his hands had now shifted into claws and his eyes were shifting from black to brown.

He swiftly hid his claws behind his back so Adelia wouldn’t notice it and get even more terrified of him.

“You said it was the leader that set you up?” he asked with a terrifying smile on his face.

“Yes,” Adelia nodded innocently. She, unlike the others, was oblivious to what her words were doing to her mate. If only she knew that her words had sealed the man's fate.

“Was that why you went to jail?” he probed.

“No, I was acquitted as they said it was self defense,” Adelia answered. “He stole some items and they were found in my house.”

“Since I had already turned eighteen I was sentenced to six months and I had already spent over five months, before it was proven that I had nothing to do with it,” she answered.

“Hmm, okay,” Adrian simply said but Arthur and Lance knew t
