Chapter 67: Attacked by her mate

“See I told you that there is something wrong,” Amelia stated.

When she had first told the witch that she felt something was wrong, Cara shrugged it off, thinking that Amelia was just being paranoid because of what the soothsayers said.

However, she could no longer say that after trying to reach Alphaeus.

“They’ll be fine, we just have to wait for them,” Cara said and as soon as she finished speaking, lightning struck in the sky showing that it would rain soon.

“I…” Amelia started but her words were cut short when she was hit with a vision.

In the vision, she saw a white lycan standing under the rain, however, something was different about it.

The rain was making it difficult for her to see what was wrong with the lycan and so, she made her way over to it.

When she got close to it, she stopped abruptly and her insides froze when she noticed the black smoke around the lycan.

“No!” she yelled and the vision stopped, bringing her back to her environment.

“What did you see?” Cara ask
