Chapter 65: I'm coming for you

“What was that you were battling with?” he asked Amelia as soon as they were out of the area.

“The same black smoke I saw the other day but this time, it was more powerful and deadlier,” Amelia stated.

"It was twirling around you and I couldn't risk knowing what would have happened if it had touched you."

“The fire wasn’t an ordinary fire,” Arthur concluded from Amelia’s words.

“It was a trap meant for you,” Amelia told Arthur.

“How are you feeling?” Arthur asked worriedly.

“A bit weak but I’ll be fine,” Amelia answered. However Arthur didn’t seem too convinced, especially as he remembered her falling.

A portal suddenly opened and Arthur drove the car into it. When the car came out of the portal, Amelia saw that they had arrived at the mansion.

She opened the door and got out but as her feet touched the ground, it gave up on her and she collapsed.

“Amelia!” Arthur exclaimed and he rushed to help her up. “See I knew you weren’t fine,” he told her and he carried her up bridal style.

“A
