166. A Team

Riley was even stunned for about three seconds and almost took a shot to the heart if someone had pulled him out of the way too late.

No one could blame a young soldier for feeling nervous when confronted with the highest-ranking officer in the enemy army.

Anyone would have trembled in the face of a war general who was known to be more skilled than his men.
