The place was packed with people from the elite society, those people who wear shiny dresses and expensive suits. The women walked with chins held up high, their beautiful dresses filled with different kinds of rare gems, jewelry that is made of high-quality stones. They took pride in showcasing how well-off they are. As for the gentlemen in the party, they talked about business and boost their achievements and how they built empires after empires.  

From filthy rich businessmen to wealthy politicians and famous celebrities, all gathered to witness the engagement of the mighty and one of the hottest bachelors in town, Fabian Luigi Romano to the only heiress of a multi-billion company, Elvira McIntosh.

They greeted and smiled with each person they came to cross with but in the deepest part of their mind, they’re assessing each and everyone present in the party, comparing their dresses and pieces of jewelry to the others. Tahimik na nakatayo sa isang sulok si Fabian, hindi siya nakikita ng kaniyang mga bisita at malaya niyang pinagmamasdan ang mga taong dumalo sa kaniyang engagement party.  

Hawak ang isang kopita na may laman na wine habang ang isa naman ay may nakaipit na umuusok na tabako, tinunga niya ito nang hindi nilulubayan ng tingin ang mga bisita. He knew almost all of these people. Colleagues, business associates, and friends from the highest class of society, the society where he belonged, the society that talks nothing but money and power.  

“Sir, the party’s about to start in 10 minutes,” his secretary informed him. Nakasunod pala ito sa kaniya.  

“Okay,” walang ganang tugon ni Fabian. This engagement is purely for business only. Business with pleasure. He smirked thinking what Vira and he did a few hours ago in his condo. That woman is so wild and experienced in bed. Not bad to be his future wife, at least he gets to enjoy her body while sucking off the resources of their business. Of all the people at this party, it’s only his mother that has the most genuine smile that was plastered on her beautiful face. His mother was all smiles as he approached her. She looked so regal and elegant with her peach floor-length dress adorned with beads and crystals. Her pixie-cut hair was not colored revealing streaks of gray hair which made her look elegant and regal. A magnificent 4.82 carat of a blue sapphire surrounded by accompanying diamonds is the only jewelry that adorned her neck.  

He smirked at what he saw, he bet his mother was bombarded with questions about the elegant jewelry that made her look like a queen. He gave it to her on her 70th birthday as his birthday present.  

“Hijo, Vira’s been looking for you, where have you been? The party’s about to start,” Susana Castro cast a stern look at his son. Hindi nito nagustohan ang ginawang pagbalewala ng anak na si Fabian sa fiancée nito. Fabian just shrugged his shoulders.  

“I know, ma,” dumukwang si Fabian para bigyan ang halik ang inang si Susana. “You should be with her now. Tatawagin na kayo sa stage anytime now,” There's a hint of disapproval in his mother’s voice, nevertheless, her expression is soft and considerate. This is what he loves about his mother, she has this warm heart that one would always notice. Napakabait nito 

He looked around and spotted the woman he was looking for, sporting a red bodycon dress with plunging neckline to reveal a generous amount of a very gorgeous pair of cleavage, Elvira McIntosh is one hot woman any man would die for to have her in his bed.
