I want to see her

“Elsa?” Linda noticed that she almost started. She turned her gaze toward her from the window almost embarrassed.

“Yes.”

“I have to know….” She paused looking at her friend,

“What did that man say to you last night?” Linda saw Elsa's cheeks pink up. She looked down at the plate of fries playing with one of them. When she spoke she didn't meet her gaze.

“You didn't hear?” she said quietly.

“No. And it's killing me.” She confessed. She might have heard if she wasn't so dreamily mesmerized by his looks

Elsa tried to stifle a smile at Linda's eager confession, but it was unsuccessful. “Well…” She paused. It wasn't easy for Elsa to talk about herself.

“Now you are killing me.” Linda blurted in exasperation,

“Come on Elsa.”

She laughed, “It's embarrassing. Give me a minute.” She finally met her gaze. “He told me I was beautiful.”

Linda's brows shot up, “Really? You're kidding! That man told you that you were beautiful? That drop-dead gorgeous rich guy?”
