Jealousy radiating

When she tilted her head with a puzzled expression on her face, he wanted to kiss her. She had no idea how positively alluring that look of innocence was. However, he wasn't ready to kiss her. He knew it would be too much for him to handle and this wasn't the place. “I meant,” he added, “I was smitten the first moment I saw you several weeks ago, then when you showed up at the auction, I knew I had to find out where you lived.” He lied dispelling her worries.

“How did you find out?”

“You took a cab home from the auction. I saw the company name on the door and I contacted the company and found where they dropped you.” Another lie.

“You watched me leave?” her eyes widened slightly. Did that mean that he was interested in her? She couldn't help but feel a thrill go through her to know that this man followed her out of the building last Sunday. If anything women would be following him everywhere.

“I didn't want you to leave, and yes, I watched.” This wasn't a lie.
