"LIKE I WILL OBEY YOU"

The sun bright light was falling on her face which made her wake up. She sat up on her bed, stretched her both arms and was about to get up from the bed, when a notification popped up on her screen showing the sender ID. It was a message from Leo saying that "meet me at my office".

To which Ella replied," Like I will obey you".

She placed her mobile on her bedside table and went to the bathroom to get a shower to clear her mind. Jenny was also awake at that time and was making breakfast for both of them. 

After taking a shower to soothe her nerves. She stood in front of the mirror, made a high ponytail, and applied some light lipstick on her soft lips. She took her phone and went towards the kitchen where Jenny was placing the breakfast on the table.

"Good morning Jenny" Ella greeted her and sat on the chair in front of Jenny.

"Today you are in a good mood," Jenny said with a smirk.

"No I am always like this," Ella said while pouring some orange juice in her glass.

Ella opened her phone and saw another message from Leo. She opened and read the message.

"My Mom wants to have lunch with you".

Ella spit out the juice she just drank from the glass after reading the last message of Leo.

"What happened Ella? Why are you spitting? Is it bad?" Jenny questioned and took a sip of the juice to check if it really tasted bad.

"It doesn't taste bad" Jenny told Ella, whose eyes were still on the message she just read. "Ella! What happened?" Hearing Jenny's voice Ella replied.

"Leo said that his mother wanted to have lunch with me" Ella showed her the message she just got from Leo.

"So your mother-in-law wants to have lunch with you," Jenny repeated with a chuckle.

"I Know I can read it," Ella replied.

Ella messaged Leo saying that she has a class in the morning so she will meet him at 12:00 pm. To which Leo replied that he will pick her up at 12:00 pm in front of her university gate.

 He placed his phone on the table, and called his secretary over the intercom to deliver his coffee. It was his 2nd cup of coffee and it was just the start of his unpleasant morning. 

His secretary entered into his office with a cup of coffee and some files. She placed the coffee cup on the table, and handed over some files to him.

"These are the files of the material you asked me to prepare". She continued," and this is the cheque for the payment of these materials that needs your signature so that I can forward it to Mr. John for delivery of these materials". 

"When the material is delivered, check them carefully. I don't want that same mistake to happen again Luna," Leo reminded her while giving her the signed files.

"I will double check them,'' Luna replied, "is there anything else you need me to do?"

He leaned back on his chair and closed his eyes.

"Do I have a meeting today"

"Yes, you have a meeting in an hour Luna,"replied while checking his schedule.

"Then cancel all my meetings for today," Leo replied calmly.

"Ok sir I will cancel them all," Luna said. Do you need anything else?

"No nothing you can go for now."

Luna took the signed files and left his office.

Leo's eyes were closed, But his mind was not giving him a peaceful nap. He didn't sleep at night because of the mess he made. 

"Are you sleeping brother," Daniel asked while taking his seat.

"Are you a ghost Daniel,"Leo asked in frustration.

"No I am your younger brother,".

" Then why are roaming like a ghost," Leo asked with frustration.

"You look so frustrated bro" Daniel asked in a worried tone." Are angry because mom asked you to take Ella home for lunch".

Leo remained silent for some time and then said.

"I don't know what to do"

"What do you mean by what to do?" Daniel asked with a worried expression.

"Daniel, I just want this marriage to happen as soon as possible."

"Bro in my opinion you should think about it again before doing this marriage" Daniel advised Leo while giving him the document which he was reading a while ago.

"What is this?" Leo asked while looking at the file.

"Luna asked me to give this file to you," Explained Daniel and left his office.

Ella hurriedly came out of her classroom after the class was over.

"Oh no it's 12:10 I am late" Ella mumbled to herself.

"Ella! Stop wait for me" a voice behind her stopped her. She turned around to look at the person who just stopped her. It was Mike 

Mike is Ella's childhood friend, Just like Jenny. They are inseparable , they studied at the same school, high school and same university.

Mike was breathing hardly because he just ran towards her.

What happened mike? Why did you stop me?

Ella asked him.

"Have you forgotten I had a football match today and you promised me that you would watch it?" 

"Oh I really forgot about that," Ella continued," but for now I have to go mike".

"Why? What is more important than me mike asked 

"What??"

"I mean what is more important than our friendship?" He corrected his sentence.

"Of course her future husband ,"Leo clarified while placing his hand around her waist and pulling her towards himself.

Ella was shocked, when he placed his hand around her waist clearly, she wasn't expecting this. But somehow she felt differently, when he pulled her towards himself, this was the third time she was having that kind of feeling.

"Future husband?" Mike asked again, not believing what he just heard.

"You didn't told your friend about our marriage"

"Mike meet Leo" and "Leo meet Mike," Ella introduced them to each other.

Leo leaned his hand towards Mike for the hand shake. 

"It's nice to meet you,'' Mr.Leo Mike answered while shaking his hand firmly.

"Let's go Ella, mom is must be waiting for us," Leo continued. "I think we should take our leave "

Saying this Leo and Ella left mike at the University gate and flopped into the car.

There was complete silence once again. So Ella decided to break it.

"Why does your mom want to have lunch with me?"

Leo remained silent and focused on his driving ignoring what she was saying.

"Do whatever you want to do "Ella mumbled to herself. When Leo didn't replied her.

At last he stopped the car in front of Davies mansion. Where they met Daniel who just parked his car right behind their car.

"Hello sister- in- law," Daniel greeted Ella after getting out of the car.

Ella greeted him too with a smile and they all entered the Davies mansion.

"Ella sis you are finally here," Erica welcomed while pulling Ella for a hug. Ella smiled and hugged her back.

"Hello aunt Freya ,"Ella greeted with a smile. But Freya Davies ignored her and sat on the chair.

After greetings they all sat on dining chairs. The maids started serving their meals and they all started to eat.

There was complete silence which Ella was not liking.

Why is everything so awkward? Ella mumbled to herself while eating her meal.

Finally Erica broke the silence asking about her plans for the wedding.

"Don't scare her Erica after all it is not yet decided," Freya Davies replied calmly while eating.

Hearing Freya Davies Ella looked at Leo with a questioning look, but he remained silent.

To lighten up the mood Daniel spoke up

"Sister-in- law tell us about your hobbies"

"I don't have many hobbies but I like to read, draw and cook food."

"You can cook too sister-in-law," asked Daniel with curiosity.

"Ella sis I made a soup dish for you let me get it for you," Erica said with a smile and was about to get up when Freya Davies said;

"You sit Erica maid will serve it"

"Leila serve the soup which is made by Erica," Freya Davies said while cleaning her face with a napkin.

The maid came with the bowl of soup and was about to place it on the table when she accidentally tripped. The bowl broke near Ella splashing the hot soup on Ella's feet.

Ouch! Ella screamed with pain of burning sensation.

"Are you blind Leila!" Leo barked and took Ella in his arms and went upstairs.

Everyone standing there was shocked when he took her in his arms and went upstairs.

Ella was too embarrassed that she hid her face in his broad chest. 

"Put me down I can walk" Ella told him in a faint voice 

"Stay quiet" 

He opened the door of his room and entered the bathroom where he placed Ella's feet under cold water.

"Ouch! Ella lightly let out a scream."

After splashing cold water he made Ella sat on the sofa and applied some ointment on the burning areas of her feet.

Leo didn't know what he was doing. All he had in his mind that Ella was hurt. But he didn't know why he was feeling hurt when it's actually was Ella who got hurt.

On the other hand Ella's ear and was all red due to the embarrassment.

Why are your ears red? Are you having a fever? Leo asked while touching her face to check whether she had a fever or not.

But Ella moved slightly so that He could not touch her face.

"It's nothing I want to go home now"

"Ok I will take you there"

Leo said and took her in his arms again.

"What are you doing?"

"You can't walk"

"I can walk put me down"

But Leo didn't reply and continued to walk towards the stairs.

Seeing Ella in his son's arms Freya was hating it. So she spoke up.

"Are you alright Miss Ella"

"Yes I am fine"

"Put her down then Leo," Freya Davies told Leo. But Leo ignored her and said;

"Mom, you guys, continue lunch. I will drop Ella to her apartment."

Freya Davies was about to say something but was cut off by Leo.

"Mom we will talk when I will come back."

After saying that Leo left the mansion and drove Ella to her apartment.
