Sylvie Morgan's pov

Sitting next to Lennox I watched the flames devour the contents of my wallet. My identity and entire existence turned into ashes. Surprisingly, I felt like I was being reborn.

“In a way, you are and will be after tomorrow night's full moon,” Opal hummed in my subconscious.

Glancing at Lennox, I studied his features and grinned slightly. Catching me, he asked me why I was smiling.

“It's been only a short time that I was told what I was and I have experienced so much. I'm worried about what will be expected of me. What if I don't meet everyone's expectations,” I asked him hesitantly, and he wrapped his arm around my neck and pulled me against his chest.

“Well, you have impressed me, not that it amounts to anything, but seriously, I will help you reach your full potential and find your place in our world,” he said confidently, but still, I felt unworthy.

Curious about what his mom said earlier, I side-eyed him and asked.

“Why did your mom call you a vaga

Sylvie Morgan's pov Dressing myself, I brushed my hair out and put it up into a ponytail before I slowly made my way downstairs. Overhearing Kirill tell Lennox that he had sat down in the living room for several hours before he came up to check on us, I creased my brow, wondering how late it was in the day. Seeing the full sun shining through the glass patio doors I bit my bottom lip. Seeing me, Lennox announced that he was making me my cake and then warming up the special birthday meal he had requested from Bailey. “How late is it?” I asked him and Kirill answered, “It's three in the afternoon. You both must have had a long night.” Glancing over at him I nodded and said, “Yes, we did.” I went to sit at the table where the Alpha was and rubbed at my chest due to my heart beginning to race again. It was unnerving and I gritted my molars as I sat. Sliding a long, narrow velvet box across the table, I peered up at Kirill who was giving it to me. “It's a little someth

Sylvie Morgan's pov “Why didn't you tell me about my mom,” I asked Opal with a thought. She huffed and replied that she hadn't known. “My memories are the same as yours are,” she growled and I narrowed my eyes as I glanced over at Kirill nursing on his third full glass of whiskey. “Don't you think that you have had enough,” I questioned rudely. He smirked at me and said, “I will be finished when the thought of you naked underneath me has faded,” he asserted, and I gasped at him but felt butterflies in my lower region. Crossing my legs I heard Lennox snickering in the kitchen and gave him a scathing glare. “I would assume that someone of your age and experience would be able to control themselves more easily,” I commented to Kirill and heard him chuckle from across the table. “Not when the issue continues to press my buttons or, should I say, make my dick hard,” he quipped, causing me to look at him licking his lips and staring lustfully at me. I could feel his eyes

Sylvie Morgan's pov Drawn to his arrogance like a moth to a flame, I eagerly followed him out the back of Lennox's house onto the patio, where he stopped abruptly, and I ran into his back. “Oof,” he growled glaring at me over his shoulder. I squeaked out a nervous apology as he turned and exhaled deeply gazing over the sunset hitting the garden in the backyard. “This is lovely,” he commented, surprising me. “Do you like nature?” I asked him in bewilderment and he nodded. “I'm a werewolf Alpha, of course; I enjoy nature,” he huffed, making me frown. “Could we try to be civil to each other on this important night, or am I expecting too much from you,” I questioned with a creased brow. Giving me a cheesy, disheartening grin, he asserted, “Certainly, at least until we find out what powers you will be gifted so I can decide if I must challenge you.” My hope fell as I studied his dark eyes. He was dead serious and I crossed my arms. “What is he expecting from me?” I ques

Sylvie Morgan's pov “Where are you going, female,” Kirill asked me while also standing. Thankfully, he wasn't touching himself anymore, I noticed. Crossing my arms, I glanced at him, under the moonlight and said, “Could you shift into your wolf so I feel less uncomfortable while I get nude to stand underneath the moonlight?” Grinning slightly he nodded and instantly shifted into his large wolf. It was unnerving how his wolf’s eyes still followed me as I began slipping off my shirt over my head. When he stepped forward I raised my brow and asserted firmly for him to stay put. Huffing the large animal sat down but continued to stare as I shimmied off my jeans and underwear. Looking up at the bright moon I headed up the incline to get to the tallest point. My skin rippled and I winced as my bones started to snap. “Oh shit,” I whimpered as I dropped to the ground and felt like my body was getting ripped to shreds. “Relax, your mind,” Opal growled and I gritted my molars as

Sylvie Morgan's pov Putting on one of Lennox's large tees for pajamas I asked Opal if she knew what was going on with Lennox. “He is being disciplined for failing his assignment and being instructed about his next one,” she replied, and I chewed on my bottom lip, worried about what his new assignment would be. “It involves Kirill's pack,” she whimpered then added, “And also what your role is to be.” Tired of her vague answers I growled sourly. “Can you elaborate more?” “No, not really. The things that must happen will happen in time since your destiny is preordained,” she asserted and I curled my lip in disbelief. “So much has happened to me that I can barely keep it straight within my mind, and I'm trying hard to stay sane here,” I snipped harshly. Then I sighed, “This is all brand new for me yet I feel that it's ingrained deep within my soul.” Sitting on the edge of the mattress I wiped my teary eyes and looked at the spot where Lennox had slept and felt a part of

Sylvie Morgan's pov “I don't know what to put my stuff in,” I asserted and Kirill shouted out for me to check the closets for a duffle bag. “Haul ass, Nash will send his men here to find you!” Shivering over the fear I felt I ran up the stairs and went directly into Lennox's bedroom to search. “Why does Nash want me now when he was so willing to give me to Kirill in the first place?!” I questioned my wolf as I searched through the shelves of the closet. Opal growled sourly and explained, “Because one, he knew Ian was on his deathbed bed, and he had a contract already written up so he was no concern; the second is because he was going to trade you for the Howler Claw pack lands because you're a Sigma and worth the land Kirill owns.” “Can't I just unify the packs and take him out,” I questioned her. “Yes, but now that you're also an Alpha Sigma, you're a much more valuable commodity. A Sigma Wolf can unify, but an Alpha Sigma can unify and rule much more,” she said softl

Sylvie Morgan's pov Sitting, I thought about Lennox and hoped he was all right. “Why did he tell us to head to the humans? Is he aware of something that is going to happen,” I questioned Opal. Before she could answer I heard Kellen. “What are you doing here? I thought you were with the Lycan and that treacherous bitch,” he snarled Kirill side-eyed him and shook his head. “Ian’s pack has been taken,” he said firmly and Kellen nodded. “Doesn't surprise me, that chick’s family brings trouble wherever they go.” Pointing my way, Kirill said, “ Sylvie is sitting there so mind your tongue.” Seeing me as he leaned forward Kellen rolled his eyes. “So the Lycan dropped her on you, how pathetic,” he chuckled cruelly and I glared at him. “Fuck you, Kellen,” I growled sourly. “Ah, no thanks, lady. You're not my type. Hey, wait a second… you are an Alpha?!” “Yeah son, she's a Sigma Alpha,” Kirill asserted over his shoulder. Giving me an awkward stare, Kellen shook his he

Sylvie Morgan's pov Kirill ran, carrying me naked and bleeding, down a gravel road through his pack’s houses. I saw the startled faces of his pack members as he ran past them. “Stay awake, Sylvie we are close to the infirmary,” he asserted as he pressed me firmly against my wound and me upon his chest. The pressure caused me to whimper and his eyes studied my face. “I will contact Lennox and inform him about what happened,” he sighed and pressed a kiss to my forehead startling me. A warmth spread throughout my body and I expelled a sigh of contentment. “Don't Sylvie,” he muttered as we stopped before a lodge of sorts. “Get the doc, Timothy. Thank the Goddess your aim still sucks,” he mumbled roughly. “He hit me; I think he aimed just fine,” I groaned, and he replied, “You're still breathing.” “Oh, but not well,” I wheezed as he sat in a chair with me on his lap, bleeding all over him. Timothy rushed off toward the back and the Alpha asked me if I was struggling wit

  • The Sigma Wolf   Chapter 48 Two Months Later

Sylvie Morgan's pov Our wedding was phenomenal, and with all three packs celebrating the union, I had been overwhelmed with joy. Choosing Bruce and Marcus as secondary Alphas for Nash’s and Ian's packs, the members came together and sorted out their differences, with those two fitting their roles perfectly. Currently, I was lounging on the back patio of Kirill's home and rubbing my extended abdomen. “You're going to pop soon,” Opal chuckled in my head and I sighed. “I'm ready to become a mom, and I know Kirill is chomping on the bit, wanting to meet the little guy, too,” I murmured. “Yeah, he's already a proud poppa and the nursery is adorable,” she added, making me smile. Hearing the door sliding open I turned to see my husband peeking out. “Do you want a glass of water?” Shaking my head I reached out my hand for him to grab. “No dear, just come and sit with me. It's a lovely day,” I purred then squirmed a bit from another sudden pain I felt in my lower back. Eyeing me kee

Sylvie Morgan's pov When I woke, I was in bed alone and grinned slightly at the wonderful time I had with Kirill the night before, minus the Lennox debacle. I noticed that my pair of jeans and shirt were washed and nicely folded on top of the dresser. I quickly put them on. After doing my business and brushing out my hair, I hurried down the stairs and stopped to see Bruce and Marcus, along with Gerald standing by the table. Kirill wasn't there and I furrowed my brow as I walked toward them. “Alpha is out taking Mister Elijah Mathis to collect um, the parts of his son. He committed suicide last night in the early morning, and his dad wishes to bury him whole,” Gerald explained, and my jaw tensed. “That's terrible, but I imagine that life being crippled horrendously was too much to handle for him,” I murmured and lowered my eyes to say a prayer for Lennox’s lost soul. “We also received word that Nash is on his last leg and close to death. Sylvie, if he passes, it will make you t

Sylvie Morgan's pov “But you truly love Kirill,” Opal whined and I gritted my molars. “Yeah, I know that, but I don't want to hurt Lennox's feelings,” I murmured, and she exhaled in my head. “Honesty is the best policy,” she growled as I stepped down the stairs and saw Lennox at the table reading the Grimoires. “Whatcha doin’?” I asked him. He glanced up at me and said, “Just reading through this, there is some interesting stuff in here. Oh, and I'm looking for the spell to remove your curse. Unless you want to have sex and remove it that way.” Pinching my lips, I sighed and mumbled, “I don't think Kirill's in the right frame of mind for that.” “Ah, I see. Sex with me wouldn't work because you don't love me,” he said bitterly. Wringing my hands I chewed on my bottom lip and grimaced. “It's not that I don't care about you…,” I started only to see him glaring at me. “You used me because of Ethan. I wouldn't have minded, but my parents believe that you and I are a c

Sylvie Morgan's pov My eyes widened at the loud crash. Turning to look back I watched the roof collapse in the room Nash was in. Feeling triumphant I continued running. The guards paid no notice to me and were hurrying to the destroyed home of their Alpha. I caught up to Lennox leaning against a tree with Kirill on the ground. Shifting into my human form I headed toward them. “What happened?” They both questioned me. “I buried the bastard,” I announced proudly then asked Lenny why he'd stopped. “He's not a light man, Sylvie and I only have so much strength,” he muttered sourly. Eyeing us both Kirill snarled accusingly, “How were you able to give her a curse? Are you a council member, Lennox?” Lowering his eyes from my inquisitive ones he exhaled deeply and said, “Yeah, I got the invitation when I left the time before last and accepted.” Whistling, Kirill congratulated him and I remained quiet since I didn't understand the significance of the position. “Can you lift him bac

Sylvie Morgan's pov “I thought you said that they would not enter?!” I huffed angrily as I glared at him. “They must have scented your Sigma Wolf. I can't defeat him without the darkness that you took away from me,” he asserted and I eyed him blankly. “Sure blame me for it,” I growled sourly. “We need to find Lennox. If he has the black moonstone, I need it to curse myself,” Kirill blurted, and I shook my head. “You can't do that! Are you insane?!” Side-eyeing me, he said, “Nash can only be defeated by something as dark as he has become. I didn't realize how far he had gotten,” he stated in anguish, and my bottom lip protruded. Brushing my chin he smiled and said, “You'll just have to make love to me until all the darkness goes away.” Eyeing him with his eyebrows wiggling at me I muttered a goofy, “Whatever.” “You're going to have to tell him that it's his love and not yours that kills the darkness,” Opal hummed and I gritted my molars. “He hasn't even proclaimed his love f

  • The Sigma Wolf   Chapter 43

Sylvie Morgan's pov Refusing to wallow in my disappointment, I headed to my old room and pinched my lips together, seeing it exactly how I had left it. Feeling like I had judged Marcus harshly as I glanced over at the space I chewed on my upper lip. “He was corrupted by Nash and probably did care about me before that, huh?” I murmured to Opal and she told me that he did, “Like I was his daughter.” Releasing my lip from my teeth I thought about Winnie suddenly and frowned. Knowing that Marcus was devastated by what Nash had done to her I wanted to hug him and tell him that everything would be alright. “I will forgive him when I return to the Howler Claw Pack, he doesn't need more heartbreak added to his life,” I asserted. Going to my dresser, I grabbed a pair of faded blue jeans and shimmied them on, then heard a breath of an exhale from my open door. “Was this your room?” Seeing Kirill standing there I nodded. “Yeah, this is the room I grew up in,” I sighed and watched him go

Sylvie Morgan's pov “Aren't you going to join him?” Both Lennox and Opal questioned me simultaneously. Nodding briskly I dropped to all fours while shifting and went to the door. I waited for Lennox to open it for me. “Be careful, but let Kirill defeat Nash; he is part demon and will absorb his darkness,” Lennox proclaimed, causing me to eye him oddly. “Don't I carry demon DNA from Kellen and could do the same thing,” I asked Opal. She whined out a yes and I grinned as I pounced from the doorway. “But you must be cautious about the pup,” Opal growled and I told her that I would as I followed Kirill's scent. Running through the trees, I realized that his scent had changed, and Opal explained that he had shifted into his true form, but it was darker due to the mist that had invaded him. “I want to see him but he's moving too quickly,” I complained, making her snicker at me. Running for miles I was growing distressed by Kirill's rambunctious attitude. “Why is he hell-bent on do

Sylvie Morgan's pov “You admitted that you love Kirill and meant it,” Opal said, flabbergasted, it caused me to pinch my lips together. “What about Lennox? I don't want to hurt him and I do love him too,” I sighed. “Are you positive because you were not certain before,” she growled. “I do, it was hard to admit my feelings,” I sighed, causing Opal to huff in my mind. I noticed that Bruce had come to the table for the dagger and I watched him as he sliced open his palm. Marcus followed suit, and the pair grasped each other's hand and then spoke the oath words to each other. The front door flew open and Lennox rushed in carrying a small oblong shaped smooth stone. ”You're too late,” I said and watched his face fall. “Where is he?’ Shrugging I shook my head and said, “He ran off into the trees.” “You appear upset, did he say something to you before he ran off?” Giving him a surprised look I shook my head and told him no. “I'm taking Marcus home with me, Alpha. Please let Kiril

Sylvie Morgan's pov “I'm sorry for betraying you, Sylvie. I was corrupted by Nash and can see that now,” he added. I just gave him a defiant glare as I frowned and watched Bruce standing over him. “My decision to forgive you will be determined after this mess is resolved,” I asserted and watched him lower his eyes. Seeing him looking small compared to the Beta of Kirill's pack I thought Nash must be crazy thinking he could defeat the Howler Claw pack. Seeing my eyes on him he muttered, “I'm sorry about Ethan too.” I rolled my eyes in disgust. “Don't be, he was mates with Lisa, not me,” I snapped and crossed my arms. “Oh, I didn't know that,” he mumbled softly and glanced over at Lennox who was speaking with Gerald. “You're mates with the Lycan so it evens itself out,” he retorted. Huffing I snapped, “I am Kirill's mate as well.” A flash of disbelief crossed his eyes and he chuckled. “Kirill would never take a second mate,” he muttered, and Bruce growled, “You wa
