Sylvie Morgan's pov

Kirill ran, carrying me naked and bleeding, down a gravel road through his pack’s houses. I saw the startled faces of his pack members as he ran past them.

“Stay awake, Sylvie we are close to the infirmary,” he asserted as he pressed me firmly against my wound and me upon his chest.

The pressure caused me to whimper and his eyes studied my face.

“I will contact Lennox and inform him about what happened,” he sighed and pressed a kiss to my forehead startling me.

A warmth spread throughout my body and I expelled a sigh of contentment.

“Don't Sylvie,” he muttered as we stopped before a lodge of sorts.

“Get the doc, Timothy. Thank the Goddess your aim still sucks,” he mumbled roughly.

“He hit me; I think he aimed just fine,” I groaned, and he replied, “You're still breathing.”

“Oh, but not well,” I wheezed as he sat in a chair with me on his lap, bleeding all over him.

Timothy rushed off toward the back and the Alpha asked me if I was struggling wit

Sylvie Morgan's pov Now that I had awakened more I noticed the bandage on Kirill's arm and saw him watching me. “Lennox told you, huh?” Nodding, I gave him a sympathetic smile and thanked him for donating his blood, bringing a subtle grin to his face. “Aw Sylvie, this is Doctor Jolene, my pack doctor, our surgeon is currently busy delivering a pup and can't meet with you at the moment,” he explained and introduced me to the woman. My eyes lit up, happy to have a woman doctor. “Thank you so much for getting me put back together,” I said solemnly and she eyed me curiously. “Oh my gosh, you are an Alpha; I'll be a monkey’s uncle… well, aunt,” she laughed as she elbowed Kirill. “Miss Alpha, he wants to know if you can be discharged or if you should stay another night, so boys, please step out so I can examine her,” Jolene asserted as she looked sternly at the pair. I laughed internally as they both quickly left my room. “You're a Sigma Alpha Wolf, “ she said softly and I nodded.

Sylvie Morgan's pov “Did you see Ethan?” Lennox questioned me as we walked side-by-side. Side-eyeing him I nodded my wolf’s head. Once we reached the infirmary, he handed me my clothes, and I shifted to dress myself quickly. My thoughts were conflicted as I thought about my old friend and I glanced over at Lennox while chewing on my bottom lip. “What do you think is going to happen to those they captured,” I asked him. Shrugging he said, “I'm not sure, Sylvie. I'm not familiar with how Kirill runs his pack, you could ask him.” I followed his pointed finger and saw Gerald peeking out of the infirmary door. “Has the threat been averted,” he asked us both and I nodded. “Yeah they caught a group of young wolves from Nash’s pack and took them somewhere, um, would you happen to know where that could be,” I questioned curiously. “The pit a couple l clicks past the pack houses. It's a large mining pit and can't be missed,” Gerald said firmly, and I scrunched my face, wondering what

Sylvie Morgan's pov “SYLVIE! STOP THIS INSTANCE!!!” Kirill's stern voice shouted out. Rolling my eyes I continued walking at a steady pace. “You should stop to see what he wants,” Opal whined in my mind. Still reeling from what just occurred, I shook my head. “I can't deal with him right now, Opal. I saw Ethan dead and he was the only person who ever had my real love,” I stammered in disbelief. Pausing briefly I glanced around to get my bearings and rubbed my eyes. “I refuse to break down,” I growled bitterly, not wanting to feel anything. “You love Lennox; go to him and open up to him,” Opal growled softly, and I pinched my lips together as I continued through the trees. “I care a lot for him, and I suppose that you can consider it love, and he is open-minded. He might be hurt if I tell him that I am unsure if I love him. I care a lot about him. and I care about Kirill, too,” I huffed, and she snickered. “It's not funny, Opal,” I sighed and stopped hearing footsteps heading

Sylvie Morgan's pov Walking up the several steps leading up the cliff to his house I stopped periodically to glance out at the view. It was breathtaking. “Come along, Sylvie, there could be unseen threats that you are unaware of.” Looking up at the Alpha, I grinned as I thought that the only worrisome thing was his sexual advances. “I'm just enjoying the view and am coming, sir,” I shouted, then giggled, hearing him groan at me calling him sir. Climbing up the remaining stairs I strolled along the deck to watch the sun setting in the distance. “The day flew by,” I mumbled softly and Opal agreed. Hearing Kirill speaking with Gerald I turned to eavesdrop on what he was saying. Hearing him mention something about Grimoires I creased my brow and headed inside. Their conversation quieted, causing me to wonder what Kirill was hiding from me, so I pried. “What about Grimoires?” I asked pointedly and eyed the Alpha. Hesitating, he stammered, “I, um, I was just asking where Gerald h

Sylvie Morgan's pov My mind started filling with scenarios of me with both of them and my cheeks reddened as I sat at the table. I fanned myself to cool my hot face. “The options are endless and I'm shocked by some of your thoughts. I guess the pornography Ethan shared with you stuck,” Opal snickered, and I grinned slightly and told her that Ethan had given me websites to check out for the questions I had in my youth, but it was highly doubtful that Kirill would be into that, and she hummed. Wanting to clear the saucy images, I turned to Lennox and asked him why he had left again. Lifting his index finger at me he spoke to Kirill. “Why don't you sleep in your son's room and I can share the bed with my mate?’ Gritting his teeth Kirill hissed. “I don't want nor need to hear you mating in my home, and my son's room smells like demon sex, which I can smell being part demon, same thing with Sylvie, and it's an aphrodisiac,” he asserted bluntly, and I covered my mouth, at the

Sylvie Morgan's pov The evening progressed and I was growing more nervous about my goal. With my mate Lennox pawing at me at every moment I was distracted and filled with humor. Lennox was just a carefree person and I enjoyed his playful nature and gift for making me feel at ease. My sight continued to drift over at Kirill lounging on the deck chair with his feet propped up on the railing. “What do you think he's thinking about,” I questioned Opal and she hummed. “Most likely the sleeping arrangement,” she answered me with a snicker. Turning to me, Lennox lifted his hands to cup my cheeks, then kissed me deeply. I kissed him back but didn't feel the urgency I had when I kissed Kirill. My heartbeat increased but didn't feel like it would burst from my chest. It felt comforting and not like the wild, chaotic abandonment I felt with the Alpha, and I was conflicted. Looking up at him I saw Lennox watching my eyes closely and felt like he had read my mind. Pressing his forehead aga

Sylvie Morgan's pov I licked my bite mark and exhaled deeply as Kirill continued to remain latched onto the other side of my neck. Feeling his knot still swollen inside of me, I listened as Opal explained that we would remain united until it reduced. It was fine with me as it felt nice and sent continuous flutters throughout my body. After he cleaned his mark he rested his cheek against mine and said, “Thank you, Sylvie. I don't believe that I could have held out much longer.” “Lennox saw us,” I blurted and he raised his head to look down at me. I was surprised by the devilish smile that came to his face. “Maybe he can be our pack, Luna,” he chuckled, causing his knot to move inside me. My eyelids narrowed as I gasped. “Sorry,” he snickered then added, “It will be a bit before it calms.” Afterward, he kissed my sweaty forehead and sighed. Feeling his contentment made me smile and I realized that our souls were intertwined. It seemed significant in some way to me and

I just gave him a defiant glare as I frowned and watched Bruce standing over him. “My decision to forgive you will be determined after this mess is resolved,” I asserted and watched him lower his eyes. Seeing him looking small compared to the Beta of Kirill's pack I thought Nash must be crazy thinking he could defeat the Howler Claw pack. Seeing my eyes on him he muttered, “I'm sorry about Ethan too.” I rolled my eyes in disgust. “Don't be, he was mates with Lisa, not me,” I snapped and crossed my arms. “Oh, I didn't know that,” he mumbled softly and glanced over at Lennox who was speaking with Gerald. “You're mates with the Lycan so it evens itself out,” he retorted. Huffing I snapped, “I am Kirill's mate as well.” A flash of disbelief crossed his eyes and he chuckled. “Kirill would never take a second mate,” he muttered, and Bruce growled, “You wa

Sylvie Morgan's pov Our wedding was phenomenal, and with all three packs celebrating the union, I had been overwhelmed with joy. Choosing Bruce and Marcus as secondary Alphas for Nash’s and Ian's packs, the members came together and sorted out their differences, with those two fitting their roles perfectly. Currently, I was lounging on the back patio of Kirill's home and rubbing my extended abdomen. “You're going to pop soon,” Opal chuckled in my head and I sighed. “I'm ready to become a mom, and I know Kirill is chomping on the bit, wanting to meet the little guy, too,” I murmured. “Yeah, he's already a proud poppa and the nursery is adorable,” she added, making me smile. Hearing the door sliding open I turned to see my husband peeking out. “Do you want a glass of water?” Shaking my head I reached out my hand for him to grab. “No dear, just come and sit with me. It's a lovely day,” I purred then squirmed a bit from another sudden pain I felt in my lower back. Eyeing me kee

Sylvie Morgan's pov When I woke, I was in bed alone and grinned slightly at the wonderful time I had with Kirill the night before, minus the Lennox debacle. I noticed that my pair of jeans and shirt were washed and nicely folded on top of the dresser. I quickly put them on. After doing my business and brushing out my hair, I hurried down the stairs and stopped to see Bruce and Marcus, along with Gerald standing by the table. Kirill wasn't there and I furrowed my brow as I walked toward them. “Alpha is out taking Mister Elijah Mathis to collect um, the parts of his son. He committed suicide last night in the early morning, and his dad wishes to bury him whole,” Gerald explained, and my jaw tensed. “That's terrible, but I imagine that life being crippled horrendously was too much to handle for him,” I murmured and lowered my eyes to say a prayer for Lennox’s lost soul. “We also received word that Nash is on his last leg and close to death. Sylvie, if he passes, it will make you t

Sylvie Morgan's pov “But you truly love Kirill,” Opal whined and I gritted my molars. “Yeah, I know that, but I don't want to hurt Lennox's feelings,” I murmured, and she exhaled in my head. “Honesty is the best policy,” she growled as I stepped down the stairs and saw Lennox at the table reading the Grimoires. “Whatcha doin’?” I asked him. He glanced up at me and said, “Just reading through this, there is some interesting stuff in here. Oh, and I'm looking for the spell to remove your curse. Unless you want to have sex and remove it that way.” Pinching my lips, I sighed and mumbled, “I don't think Kirill's in the right frame of mind for that.” “Ah, I see. Sex with me wouldn't work because you don't love me,” he said bitterly. Wringing my hands I chewed on my bottom lip and grimaced. “It's not that I don't care about you…,” I started only to see him glaring at me. “You used me because of Ethan. I wouldn't have minded, but my parents believe that you and I are a c

Sylvie Morgan's pov My eyes widened at the loud crash. Turning to look back I watched the roof collapse in the room Nash was in. Feeling triumphant I continued running. The guards paid no notice to me and were hurrying to the destroyed home of their Alpha. I caught up to Lennox leaning against a tree with Kirill on the ground. Shifting into my human form I headed toward them. “What happened?” They both questioned me. “I buried the bastard,” I announced proudly then asked Lenny why he'd stopped. “He's not a light man, Sylvie and I only have so much strength,” he muttered sourly. Eyeing us both Kirill snarled accusingly, “How were you able to give her a curse? Are you a council member, Lennox?” Lowering his eyes from my inquisitive ones he exhaled deeply and said, “Yeah, I got the invitation when I left the time before last and accepted.” Whistling, Kirill congratulated him and I remained quiet since I didn't understand the significance of the position. “Can you lift him bac

Sylvie Morgan's pov “I thought you said that they would not enter?!” I huffed angrily as I glared at him. “They must have scented your Sigma Wolf. I can't defeat him without the darkness that you took away from me,” he asserted and I eyed him blankly. “Sure blame me for it,” I growled sourly. “We need to find Lennox. If he has the black moonstone, I need it to curse myself,” Kirill blurted, and I shook my head. “You can't do that! Are you insane?!” Side-eyeing me, he said, “Nash can only be defeated by something as dark as he has become. I didn't realize how far he had gotten,” he stated in anguish, and my bottom lip protruded. Brushing my chin he smiled and said, “You'll just have to make love to me until all the darkness goes away.” Eyeing him with his eyebrows wiggling at me I muttered a goofy, “Whatever.” “You're going to have to tell him that it's his love and not yours that kills the darkness,” Opal hummed and I gritted my molars. “He hasn't even proclaimed his love f

Sylvie Morgan's pov Refusing to wallow in my disappointment, I headed to my old room and pinched my lips together, seeing it exactly how I had left it. Feeling like I had judged Marcus harshly as I glanced over at the space I chewed on my upper lip. “He was corrupted by Nash and probably did care about me before that, huh?” I murmured to Opal and she told me that he did, “Like I was his daughter.” Releasing my lip from my teeth I thought about Winnie suddenly and frowned. Knowing that Marcus was devastated by what Nash had done to her I wanted to hug him and tell him that everything would be alright. “I will forgive him when I return to the Howler Claw Pack, he doesn't need more heartbreak added to his life,” I asserted. Going to my dresser, I grabbed a pair of faded blue jeans and shimmied them on, then heard a breath of an exhale from my open door. “Was this your room?” Seeing Kirill standing there I nodded. “Yeah, this is the room I grew up in,” I sighed and watched him go

Sylvie Morgan's pov “Aren't you going to join him?” Both Lennox and Opal questioned me simultaneously. Nodding briskly I dropped to all fours while shifting and went to the door. I waited for Lennox to open it for me. “Be careful, but let Kirill defeat Nash; he is part demon and will absorb his darkness,” Lennox proclaimed, causing me to eye him oddly. “Don't I carry demon DNA from Kellen and could do the same thing,” I asked Opal. She whined out a yes and I grinned as I pounced from the doorway. “But you must be cautious about the pup,” Opal growled and I told her that I would as I followed Kirill's scent. Running through the trees, I realized that his scent had changed, and Opal explained that he had shifted into his true form, but it was darker due to the mist that had invaded him. “I want to see him but he's moving too quickly,” I complained, making her snicker at me. Running for miles I was growing distressed by Kirill's rambunctious attitude. “Why is he hell-bent on do

I don't want to hurt him and I do love him too,” I sighed. “Are you positive because you were not certain before,” she growled. “I do, it was hard to admit my feelings,” I sighed, causing Opal to huff in my mind. I noticed that Bruce had come to the table for the dagger and I watched him as he sliced open his palm. Marcus followed suit, and the pair grasped each other's hand and then spoke the oath words to each other. The front door flew open and Lennox rushed in carrying a small oblong shaped smooth stone. ”You're too late,” I said and watched his face fall. “Where is he?’ Shrugging I shook my head and said, “He ran off into the trees.” “You appear upset, did he say something to you before he ran off?” Giving him a surprised look I shook my head and told him no. “I'm taking Marcus home with me, Alpha.
