Chapter 94

Lillian's perspective

Our date this time was surprisingly smooth. Not only did we go to Ocean Park, but we'd also had dinner outside. Then, we went shopping nearby as per my request.

It wasn't until nine o'clock in the evening that I felt that my legs go numb from all the walking. I stole a glance at Ismail and found that there was already an impatient look in his eyes.

Despite not wanting our date to end so soon, I could not put him through more of this. I could only say, "Come, let's head back."
