Lillian's perspective

As soon as Hazel breathed a sigh of relief after she had finally stabilized the car, she heard my painful cry. She turned around immediately, and there was a hint of anxiety on her frightened face.

I covered my forehead, and it took me a long time to recover from the pain. I shook my head and managed to say, "I'm fine."
