Again the man did not immediately answer, he just looked around, and his face looked confused.
Clare felt a little annoyed and went into the basement. She immediately looked into the dug hole and checked. Did the man enter by digging a hole?
Of course, Clare could see the dugout, which seemed quite long.
She chuckled in annoyance and quickly climbed back up.
The man was still standing there and looking at the entire library.
"Are you ready to answer? Who are you really?" Clare put her hands on her hips and tilted her head.
The man looked at Clare with a pair of sharp blue eyes.
"Enzo Etienne, that's my name."
He answered curtly and then pulled a book from the shelf and read it.
"Hmm, Enzo… Etienne? Your name is as ancient as you look," Clare commented on the man.
"What are you doing at my Grandpa's house? How far did you dig to get in here?"
Clare asked again.
"I didn't dig. I was buried in there," the man replied, turning the pages of his book.
Clare's mouth opened, and she stared at Enzo in disbelief.
"You expect me to believe what you say so that I run away because I'm scared?"
Clare snorted. She had never heard such silliness before!
"I'm not asking you to believe me, you're asking, and I'm just answering," Enzo chimed in as Clare closed the book.
Clare's face looked nervous, but she still felt curious about the man, but she also realized this was not the time to be confused.
She had to clean up this matter before her two brothers returned later!
"You, clean up the mess you made in the basement!" Clare squealed because she felt irritated and a little scared.
The man had no clothes on and was only bare-chested. He only wore shabby pants and no footwear. His appearance was truly terrifying!
"The mess I made?" he asked again.
"What's that?"
Clare wanted to scream, is there a human whose mind is plodding like this?
Clare worked up the courage to touch the man and grab his arm for Enzo to follow.
He then showed a massive hole dug there.
"This! The hole you dug and that!"
Clare points out the gaping dugout in the basement and the spots on Enzo's feet, which are filled with dirt.
"My two brothers will return later. What should I do? They will definitely be furious! Especially Matthew!
He will finish me because he has forbidden me from opening the basement door! But because you banged on it, I had to open the door, and...
Aaargh!
What should I say to Matthew?
No, am I going to be sent home tonight too???"
Clare panicked alone and kept talking until she didn't notice if Enzo had passed her and went back into the basement.
"E-En-Enzo!!" Clare immediately turned around and looked into the basement.
"What is it? Don't you want this place to be tidied up again?" Enzo asked as he closed the hole again.
Clare was stunned for a moment. She left the place for a while and returned after changing her clothes.
She wore knee-length pants and a slightly dirty shirt. She also took off her shoes so that Enzo was stunned when she saw her appearance.
"What are you doing?" Enzo asked with a stiff face.
"I will help you. The sooner, the better!"
Clare stared at the gaping hole and then left again.
Enzo didn't seem to care much for the girl and continued closing the wide hole.
Not long after the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, Clare handed the man a shovel.
"Use this to go faster! I will also help you!"
Without saying much, Enzo accepted the shovel and started to fill the hole, along with Clare.
In less than an hour, they had finished their task!
Enzo then corrected the position of the wooden floor, which he had smashed earlier, while Clare was busy returning the shovel and carrying the broom to clean up the remnants of dirt that had stuck to the floor.
Clare didn't say much as she cleaned the room. She mopped the floor to make it look as if nothing had happened. She then smoothed out the carpet in the basement and took a deep breath.
She stared at the whole basement that had returned to normal. She smiled in relief and glanced at Enzo, who was watching her.
"Hmmm!" Clare cleared her throat loudly.
"This is the year two thousand twenty-seconds, Wednesday the second. You're at my grandfather's house in Bloomsbury, London."
Hearing Clare's words, Enzo's facial expression changed slightly, but because of the beard and beard that covered his face, Clare didn't know what kind of face Enzo was showing.
She snorted again because the man did not comment at all. She was also uncomfortable to see the man who looked dirty.
"Follow me!" Clare then climbs the basement stairs and invites Enzo to go upstairs.
Enzo was silent and followed Clare's words.
Clare then returned to tidying the carpet in the library and walked to the bathroom.
All the way to the bathroom, Enzo glanced here and there. He was confused.
This place has changed. This is no longer the Bloomsbury I knew! Enzo really didn't know. Where was he right now?
"Take a bath here, clean your body. You stink!" Clare said as she ordered Enzo into the bath.
As he entered the large bathroom, Enzo felt even more confused. He couldn't find the bucket and well there!
He stared at Clare for a moment.
"How do I take a shower? There's no water here…."
Clare's chest felt like it was going to explode.
Is this person ancient? What year was he born? How could he not know how to use the faucet and shower???
But she tried to be patient and then went to the shower. She then opened the faucet and taught Enzo how to use it.
"Turn to the right a little, then hot water will come out. To the middle, warm water will come out. If you turn to the left, cold water will come out.
Do you understand?"
Enzo didn't answer Clare's question. He just tried it himself.
"Hmm, I see, thank you.
Please come out," he said.
Clare stomped her foot and left the place.
"He asked me out as soon as I taught! Huuhhh! How shameless that person is!
Who is he?"
Clare then went to her late grandfather's room and opened the wardrobe.
She looked for clothes that were roughly the right size for Enzo.
She pulled out a dark blue shirt and a pair of Grandpa's favorite blue jeans. When her gaze fell on the underwear, Clare's face immediately turned red.
Not because she was fantasizing dirty, but she just realized if she was with a foreign man all this time!
Clare immediately dismissed the thought."He's not a man! He's a strange creature from a dugout!" Clare tried to get rid of her thoughts, and with a red face, she looked briefly out the door of the grandfather's room. Then she studied her grandfather's clothes and muttered under his breath."Sorry, Grandpa, but I have to lend him this shirt ..." she said while stroking the shirt left by the late Grandpa. Then Clare rushed to the bathroom, which was on the first floor. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see the man coming out of the shower room naked.Instantly her face turned red, and his heart beat fast.Clare immediately turned her face away while her hands touched the wall, then placed the clothes on the small table in the large room."P-Put on your clothes! After that, I will cut your hair and shave your beard!"After saying it in such a shouting tone, she immediately got out of there and dashed towards her room.Enzo looked at the clothes Clare had put down.Water was

That would be tantamount to dumping Enzo on them as well.Clare's eyes moved, and she looked at t
The bright morning, the cool air, and the sunshine that warmed the world, made Clare Caroline inhale the morning air greedily."If you inhale like that, the bees will get into your nose, Clare," teased the mother, Mrs. Audrey, as she passed Clare."Bees won't like my morning snot, Mom. It's very sticky and allows it to be stuck there forever," said Clare as she breathed in the morning air.The mother shook her head. The journey from Birmingham, where the Adam family home is located, to Bloomsbury, is long. They had to travel for at least two hours. Matthew and Raymond were willing to clear their schedules to know the condition of their grandfather's house."Clare...?" Raymond reprimanded his sister and made sure she was still awake."What is it?" asked Clare as she enjoyed the spring scenery along the way."Aren't you afraid if suddenly Grandpa appears in front of you?" Raymond teased Clare again.Clare rolled her eyes and snorted."What other trick are you going to play so that I feel scared and not stay there?Just tell the truth, Ray. He asked his brother, his voice a little angry."Yeah, I've known it since we were teenagers, Ray," Matthew replied calmly."Then did you ask Grandpa about this?"
