I let out a weary sigh as I stepped out of the car, my spirits not at all lifted by the thought of having to conduct a survey at Miracle Academy. I definitely wasn't looking forward to dealing with that aggravating girl.

Did she reject me?

I waited there for hours, perched on the school roof, but she never showed up!

I even had Judith confront the principal of Miracle Academy about the order I had given her. What exactly did she want?

Can't she sense the appealing scent of my pheromones?

Doesn’t she find my mature, handsome appearance attractive?

Is she not intrigued by a man older than herself?

I muttered to myself, a hint of frustration in my voice.

I couldn't be that much older than she thought, right?

I was still young and had achieved stability in my life. If I spent too much time pondering over it, I’d drive myself insane.

How else was I supposed to get the attention of a bratty wolf like her other than flaunting the wealth and status I had acquired?
