Anna's POV

The moment he banged the door shut, I couldn't help but flinch as I stared at the closed door. For the next few minutes that followed, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I was just staring at the door as if my life and whole well-being depended on it.

“Ugh!” I sighed as I tugged my hair, not minding the pain I was causing to my scalp.

With tears burning my eyes, I made my way towards the bed and then released my weight slowly on it. With the way things were happening, I wouldn't be surprised if I went mad at this rate.
