Celine POV
Pacing back and forth, my heart beating in a repetitive manner, I thought through several ways in which I would serve my punishment in the hands of Alpha Adrian. The festival was over and it hurts that I never got to say the prayers I so desired to make after taking so much risk. I had seen the same figure on the path way to the arena, pointing in my direction to the Alpha and i couldn't help but mutter curses. He was the reason I would be punished and thought of the previous beating had my legs shaking. "Celine! The Alpha orders for your presence." Zica announced with a smile on his face. Right before I stepped into the chambers, I rolled my eyes at him. He was infuriating and I could only wish I was strong to give him a piece of my hand. Stepping into the chambers, my eyes went directly to the throne, where Alpha Adrian was seated gracefully on the throne, alongside the same man from the arena. I wondered what they had discussed. "Alpha." I lowered my head, waiting for a thunderous yell or atleast a statement filled with hate and disdain. "Get up." Surprisingly, I was met with a calm soothing reply. It was the first time Alpha Adrian was being calm and he had no sign of anger on his face. "I guess your lucky day is here. Alpha Magnus Otto Damien, leader of the Red Moon pack, has demanded to take you along with him." His announcement had me staring in disbelief, my eyes moving towards Alpha Magnus, whose stories I have heard a numerous times. Many believed he was the devil himself as his ruthless act had never gone unnoticed. I imagined how I had bumped into such a man. "First thing in the morning, you will get your things ready and leave." He stated further. Freedom, that is all I could hear ringing through my head in that moment. I was going to be free from the agonies that I had faced in the hands of Alpha Adrian. "Leave us." He declared. Right before I could leave, I made a last look at the Alpha and he seemed entirely not satisfied with his decision. Upon getting back to the room, I punched the air in celebration, imagining getting myself through the boarders and finally out of the pack for good. A faint knock came through the door and for a moment I thought it was Alpha Adrian. I opened the door and it revealed Alpha Magnus, standing by the door with no visible emotions on his face. "Like your Alpha has said, we leave by sunrise." He affirmed. I knelt before him, holding his legs on appreciation as tears of hope pulled through my eyes. "Thank you very much." I said, almost in tears. He released his legs off my hand and seemed visible irritated by my tears. Once he was gone, I closed the door behind me, wondering if he had some sort of mood disorder. One minute he had no emotions written on his face, the other minutes, he was showing signs of rage. 'Do you think he would be nice to us?" Jedah asked, while I pack some of my clothes into my bag. 'I cannot answer that question, but I would rather walk through the face of hell than stay in the same pack with Alpha Adrian again.' I replied. Indeed that was true, he never showed me mercy and despite his decision, the look on his face showed that he was beginning to regret it. Suddenly, the door opened and once I turned around, Alpha Adrian was by the door with a whip in his hand. Fear crashed through my body as I saw anger visible resonating across his eyes. He closed the door behind him and placed the keys in his pocket. "I warned you about going to the festival didn't I?" He asked stretching his whip in the process. "You seem to be very arrogant and because of your shrewd stubborn act, you have yourself taken away from me." He stated. Right before I could say anything, I felt the tip of the whip crash down my left eye. I screamed in pain, holding up my eye in the process. "Quiet!" He declared. His wolf seemed to have taken over as his voice changed. It was evident that I may not make it before the next day. Right before he could raise the whip, the door burst open and a loud growl, shook the entire foundation. I looked past the standing frame of Alpha Adrian to behold a raging beast, whose claws had been stretched out pouring steam. "Alpha Magnus, I don't understand why you are here." Alpha Adrian's voice, had a pint of fear to it as he speak and it was apparent that he was intimidated. "Step aside." Alpha Magnus ordered, voice was deep, much deeper than Adrian's and it held so much authority as well. The huge frame of Alpha Adrian moved aside and I looked up to face Alpha Magnus. My eye had failed to open since the tip of the whip had landed on them, thus I held them with so much tender. "How dare you touch what is mine?" Alpha Magnus asked, his stare directly at Adrian. "You don't get to dictate for me. I understand we have traded successfully, however she is still my Omega and you are on my pack..." Adrian affirmed, standing his ground. Like the speed of the wind, Alpha Magnus picks up Adrian with one arm by the neck, with an attempt to choke him to death. "She is mine and mine alone." Alpha Magnus yelled out. He threw Adrian across the side of the room and the impact caused me to stare in disbelief. It was rather much rare to see an Alpha handled in such manner. I turned around and the fiery eyes of Alpha Magnus softened a moment and he walked towards me, holding my hand away from my left eye. I hissed in pain and he growled once again. "I am not leaving you here any longer, we leave right now." He declared. I shook my head in understanding and turned around to continue packing up. While folding more clothes into the bag, Alpha Magnus, drags Adrian's unconscious body out of the room, leaving me alone. A new life await and I was anxious to know what it holds for me.Celine's POV The cold morning air bit at my skin as I stood at the entrance of the Silver line Pack's territory. Alpha Magnus had kept his word, and now I was finally free from the clutches of Alpha Adrian. I could hardly believe it as I stared at the closed gates of the Silver Pack behind me. The place that had been my prison for so long was now just a memory. I was filled with fear and hope. A confusing feeling that I wished would be easier for me. I wanted to believe that this was the beginning of a new chapter, a life free from the torment and abuse I had endured for years. But a small voice in the back of my mind whispered doubts. What if I had just traded one prison for another? Alpha Magnus stood beside me, his presence a constant reminder of my uncertain future. He had saved me from Adrian, but the stories I had heard about him were enough to make anyone scared. His reputation as a ruthless leader of the Red Moon Pack preceded him, and I couldn't help but wonder what lay
Adrian's POV The silence of the forest surrounding the Silver line Pack’s territory was shattered by the loud crash of wood against stone. The heavy oak desk splintered, sending shards and papers flying across the room. I stood amidst the chaos, my chest heaving with fury, my eyes blazing with an intensity that would make even the bravest wolf cower. “Damn you, Magnus!” I roared, my voice echoing off the walls. “How dare you humiliate me in my own pack!” The remnants of the confrontation played over and over in my mind, each repetition stoking the fires of my rage. Alpha Magnus had dared to challenge my authority, to question my decisions, and worst of all, had taken Celine from me right under my nose. The sheer audacity of it made my blood boil. Lucas, my Beta, stood at the edge of the room, his posture tense and his eyes wary. “Alpha, we must calm down and think strategically. Attacking Magnus outright would be a mistake. We need to regroup and plan our next move carefully.”
Celine POV I never thought I'd find myself here, in the Red Moon Pack, away from everything I once knew. My old pack seemed like a distant memory now, a place I could never return to. The fear of facing Alpha Adrian's wrath made that clear. So, I had no choice but to accept my new reality and the offer Alpha Magnus extended to me. Being a Luna came with responsibilities and a status I hadn't anticipated. The members of the Red Moon Pack treated me with a respect and admiration that left me humbled. However, not everyone was pleased with Magnus's decision to make me his Luna. One evening, as the moon cast a silvery glow over the pack, I overheard a heated conversation in the Alpha’s office. Beta Ryan was trying to persuade Alpha Magnus against his decision. "Magnus, this is madness," Ryan argued, his voice tense. "Celine is an outsider. The pack won't accept her as their Luna so easily. Think about the unrest this will cause." Magnus's expression hardened. "Ryan, my decision i
Magnus POVAlthough everything about the ceremony had ended well, I still couldn't understand the mystic energy that suddenly glowed the minute I placed the crown on Celine's head. What was so special about this girl that the moon goddess had to indicate her presence through that strong burst of energy? While I had many questions and thoughts about the event, the recurring dreams I had concerning a veiled woman and her cryptic pronouncements of war echoed in my mind. Though weeks had passed, her words remained a chilling premonition.Restlessness gnawed at me. I paced the confines of my study, the crimson velvet drapes filtering the morning light into blood-red stripes across the polished floor, until there was a sudden knock on the door."Who dares disturb my peace?" I asked angrily."Alpha, it's me, Celine," she said curtly, her voice barely a murmur. "I...I noticed you haven't been yourself lately after the ceremony. Could there be something in your thoughts you'd like to share wit
Adrian’s POVThe day of the attack had finally arrived. Standing at the edge of the Silver Line Pack's territory, I cast my gaze toward the distant land of the Red Moon Pack. The plan was simple: disrupt their supplies and create discord among their younger wolves. With Magnus out of the picture, it was the perfect opportunity to strike. My warriors, handpicked for their loyalty and cunning, stood ready. "Remember, strike swiftly and without mercy," I instructed, my voice low and menacing. "Leave no trace, and make sure the Red Moon Pack knows we mean business."They nodded, their eyes gleaming with excitement and anticipation. I watched them vanish into the forest, their paws silent on the forest floor. Yet, as they disappeared from view, a gnawing unease settled in my gut, like an itch I couldn't scratch. Dismissing it as pre-battle nerves, I turned my attention back to the task at hand.Hours passed in a tense silence. I paced restlessly, my mind replaying the details of the plan.
Magnus POVThe moment our scouts confirmed the Silver Line Pack's movement, I knew Adrian was about to make a costly mistake. Our spies had worked tirelessly, feeding us crucial information about their plans. Now, it was time to capitalise on their arrogance.I stood on a hill overlooking the ambush site, the full moon casting an eerie glow over the forest. The sounds of battle had long since faded, replaced by the cries of the wounded and the hurried whispers of retreating wolves. Our ambush had been a resounding success."Alpha Magnus," Ryan, approached, his expression a mix of satisfaction and respect. "The Silver Line warriors are in full retreat. We've captured several and taken minimal losses.""Good," I replied, my voice calm but firm. "Ensure the prisoners are secured and tended to. They might have useful information."As Ryan nodded and walked away, I allowed myself a rare moment of reflection. This victory was more than just a tactical success; it was a message to the Silver
Celine POVI watched as Lewis and Magnus spoke in hushed tones, their expressions serious. I could sense the tension in the air, the weight of their conversation. Lewis's proposal had sparked a fire in Magnus's eyes, a flame of ambition and determination. As I observed them, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of unease. Words like expansion, dominance, and submission echoed in my mind like a warning bell. I knew Magnus's desire for power and strength, but at what cost?I glanced around the room, noticing the way the other pack members watched Lewis with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. Ryan's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched, as if he didn't trust Lewis's intentions. I was equally doubtful as he was. What did Lewis really want? What drove him to propose such a risky plan? I had heard he was a charming, persuasive member of our pack, but I also heard about his cunning and ambition. As the night wore on, the discussion grew more heated. Magnus's enthusiasm clashed with Ryan's caution, wh
Celine POV I felt a sense of relief wash over me as Magnus agreed to reconsider our options. It was a small victory, but it was a start. I knew I still had a long way to go to convince him to abandon Lewis's proposal, but I was determined to try.Over the next few days, I made it a point to spend more time with Magnus. I wanted to help him see things from my perspective. I shared my fears and concerns with him, and I could see the doubt in his eyes. He was starting to question his own decisions, and I knew that I had to keep pushing him to see the truth. But Lewis was not about to give up easily. He continued to manipulate Magnus, feeding his ambition and fueling his desire for power. I could see the influence he had over Magnus, and it scared me. I knew I had to do something to counteract Lewis's influence, but I didn't know what. One day, as I was out on a walk, I ran into Ryan. He looked troubled, and I could tell he was struggling with his own doubts and fears."Ryan, what's wron
Lewis POVI smiled to myself as I left the Great Hall. The tension and turmoil in the air smelled wonderful, enticing, and energising. Celine thought she was clever, challenging me in front of the pack, but she had no idea what I was truly capable of. Her little outburst was just another piece of the puzzle falling into place. My plan was unfolding perfectly. Magnus, once a strong and capable Alpha, was now torn and uncertain. His leadership wavered with every passing day, and the pack sensed it. They were divided, some siding with Magnus, others with me. And Celine's attempts to rally them against me? That would only drive them further apart."Just a few more moves," I muttered under my breath as my footsteps echoed quietly across the stone flooring of the pack house's dimly lit halls. The walls were lined with portraits of past Alphas, men who had led the Red Moon Pack to greatness. Soon, my portrait would hang among them, but not as a mere Alpha. No, I sought something far greater
