Reagan's POV

The scent of her lingered in the room, warm and intoxicating, wrapping around me like a haze. Slowly, I turned, my gaze falling on her—the beautiful Andrea. The woman I had always loved. My Luna.

The soft morning light spilled across her face, highlighting every delicate feature. She looked so peaceful, her chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. Her dark lashes fanned against her cheeks, her lips slightly parted as she slept. Her legs were tangled with mine, our nakedbodies pressed together under the rumpled sheets.

I couldn’t help but stare. She was breathtaking, the kind of beauty that made my chest tighten every time I looked at her. Her lips caught my attention next. They were slightly parted, soft and inviting. Memories from last night came rushing back—the way her lips had felt against mine, warm and eager. The way she’d said my name, her voice full of need. The way she’d looked at me, her head tilted back in pure pleasure.

A warmth started to build inside me

Guinevere POVI would say my love for Hayden was love at first sight. Being both Alpha’s children and heirs, there was a connection I felt the moment we first met, and I knew he was the one for me. Growing up together, there was always a comparison between us; being children of such great Alphas, we were given a responsibility that no other kids had experienced. Whenever I felt down, Hayden was there—he was like a light in a tunnel, a happy place to go where I never felt lost. He never judged me and saw me for who I am.I could never forget the day I was chosen to be his Mate. I couldn’t express the feeling I felt. It was as if the moon goddess was rooting for me by giving me the best mate. And now we get to spend forever together.“You look so beautiful,” Shayla exclaimed, entering the room with my sister Abagail in tow.“You’re okay,” Gail added with a shudder, her unique way of expressing admiration. I couldn’t help but smile at her familiar teasing.“Thanks, Gail,” I replied with

"I should be the one there.""Don't worry," Hayden replied, his voice low and filled with deceit. "Once this darn ceremony is over, I'll reject her and make you mine," he said, returning her kiss with equal fervor."Ugh," she moaned again, their soft gasps filling the room. The sound of their bodies slapping together echoed off the walls, a symphony of betrayal.I rested my head against the door frame, watching them through the creak. They were too preoccupied with their illicit affair to even notice my presence.Clap. Clap. Clap. The sound of my slow applause cut through the room like a knife. They jolted apart, their eyes wide with panic as they scrambled to pull on their clothes."What the hell," Hayden spat, his teeth clenched in fury as he saw me standing there."I couldn't h

Guinevere POV"What's the meaning of this?" My father's voice thundered through the room, his fury directed at Alpha Lance.Alpha Lance looked stricken, his usual composure shattered. "I'm sorry," he stammered, his regret evident."Sorry isn't going to fix this!" My father roared, pacing back and forth, his anger palpable."Geoffrey, calm down," my mother urged, her voice soothing yet firm. "The ceremony has been performed; there's nothing we can do now.""No," I interjected, my voice trembling with a mix of anger and desperation. How could she even say that? "I'm going to reject him. I love Hayden, and I'll do whatever it takes to get him back.""You can't, Guinevere," my mother said gently, but with a hint of sadness. "It's not that simple, especially after the ceremony has taken place."I ignored her, turning instead to Grandmother Lana, a flicker of hope in my eyes. "There is a way, right?" I pleaded. She sighed deeply, the weight of her years and wisdom evident. "The ceremony has

Reagan's POVI stared at the ceiling, her soft breathing filling the room. A gentle reminder of her presence. I turned to look at her, curled up on the couch. How could she sleep so peacefully on that small, uncomfortable piece of furniture? The couch seemed to barely contain her, yet she looked serene as if it were the most comfortable place in the world.Whatever.I laid back down, pulled the blanket up to my chest, and shut my eyes, willing myself to sleep. The events of the day replayed in my mind, each moment making it harder to find rest.Damn it.My eyes snapped open, staring at the dark ceiling once more.EarlierI watched as she looked away from my gaze, giving me space as if she were afraid I might contaminate her. I pulled off my shirt, feeling her eyes on me. She tried to look away, but her gaze slowly ran over my exposed chest, lingering on the large, jagged scar on my chest."Are you done staring?" I asked with a smirk, breaking the tense silence. She cleared her throat,

Guinevere's POV I tossed around slowly, pulling up the blanket and tucking myself into it. The bed was soft, the covers warm. With everything that had happened, it was nice to finally enjoy a restful night in such a comfortable bed. Wait... bed? Snapping my eyes open, I sat up and looked around. I was in my bed, but the last thing I remembered was falling asleep on the couch. I stared at the couch, piecing it together, and then it hit me. Reagan. With a sigh, I got down from the bed. Today was going to be a good day. It was the day Reagan would stand before everyone to see if the Alpha ring would accept him as the true Alpha. I couldn't help but smirk at the thought of his embarrassed face when the ring rejected him and Hayden claimed his rightful title as the true Alpha—and I, his true Luna. My smile widened. God, if only time could move ten times faster. Glancing around the empty room, I made sure there was no sight of Reagan. Satisfied he wasn't around, I pulled off my c

Reagan's POVAlways be nice.Always be kind. Forgive those who hurt you and live your life happily. My mother's words echoed in my mind as I stared down from the balcony, looking at them.I'm sorry, Mother. But I cannot be nice. I can't be kind. And I will never forgive those who have hurt me.My hands clenched as the memories surged—the sound of her desperate cries, the sight of blood pouring from her mouth, and most especially, the way she still looked at my father with love even as she died in his hands.Never.I will never forgive. The scene below seemed distant, almost surreal, as I remembered her final moments. The anguish in her eyes, the helplessness I felt, and the betrayal of a man who should have protected her. My heart hardened, the smirk tugging at my lips fueled by a mix of anger and resolve. I leaned in, watching the drama unfold with a detached curiosity.Andrea was there, clearly hurt by the sight of her beloved Hayden wrapped in Shayla's arms. If only she knew what

Guinevere's POV “Why don’t we say our wishes?” Reagan said, stopping me just as I was about to leave the room. “What?” I turned back to face him, confusion flickering in my eyes. “Remember the bet we made. Tell me what you want me to do if I lose.” I took a step closer, staring directly into his eyes. “If the ring rejects you, I need you to surrender peacefully and apologize to Hayden in front of everyone.” Reagan nodded solemnly. “Deal.” “Now it’s my turn. If the ring accepts me as the true alpha, you must be loyal to me no matter what happens. You must always be on my side,” he declared, his voice steady and resolute. “Okay,” I said, barely concealing my disbelief. I had no intention of taking his words seriously. The ring would never accept a traitor like him. “Is that all?” I asked, arching an eyebrow. He smiled, taking another step closer. “You see, I have a little trust issue.” I couldn’t help but scoff. “I’m pretty sure I’m the one who should be saying that.” “I’m a

Guinevere's POV“I want to feel you in me… all of you.”A sharp inhale escaped him as his eyes darkened with passion. He pulled back just enough to study my face, searching for any hesitation, any sign that I didn’t mean what I said. But there was none."Are you sure?" Reagan’s voice was low, almost hesitant, his piercing blue eyes searching mine with a softness that seemed so at odds with his usual strength. "Because of the hex, I might be rough..." He broke eye contact, guilt flickering in his expression as he looked away.I reached out, my fingers brushing gently against his cheek, urging him to meet my gaze again. His skin was warm under my touch, and when his eyes locked with mine, I saw vulnerability in their depths."I trust you," I said softly, my voice steady. "You’d never hurt me, Reagan."His jaw tensed slightly, the weight of my words sinking in. Before he could respond, I leaned in, capturing his lips in a kiss. My hands trembled uncontrollably, my chest rising and falling in short, sharp breaths. My wide eyes were glued to the horror before me, unable to look away. The truth of what I had done hit me like a wave, drowning me in guilt. The bodies of werewolves lay scattered around, lifeless and torn apart. Blood was everywhere—on the walls, on the floor, on my hands. My stomach churned. In the middle of it all was the masked man. He lay slumped against the wall, iron rods sticking out of his chest and sides. His breathing was shallow, uneven.I couldn’t move. My legs felt like they were made of stone, and my heart pounded so loudly I could barely hear anything else. The hex had left me, its darkness fading, but the damage it caused was still here. The rage within me burned hotter than the wounds. If I was going to end him, I wanted to do it with my own hands.I stepped toward him slowly, each step deliberate, my expression hard and unyielding. My fists were clenched at my sides, and my breaths came in sharp, controlled bursts. The faint glow of the hex mark on my chest pulsed with my fury, catching his attention. His eyes widened in terror when he saw the mark of the hex. Reagan's POVAs I ran through the woods, her scent grew stronger, filling my nose with a mix of lavender and rain. It pulled me forward like a string tied to my chest. My heart pounded harder with each step, anger and worry fighting for control.I was furious—furious at Rya for keeping secrets, furious at Andrea for putting herself in danger, but mostly furious at myself. This mess was my fault, and now I had to fix it.The warehouse stood ahead, dark and silent under the moonlight. It looked abandoned, but I could feel the tension in the air. Without thinking, I kicked the door open. The crash of wood and metal echoed through the empty space as the door flew off its hinges.“Where is she?!” I roared, my voice shaking the walls.A man stepped out from the shadows, dressed in black with a mask covering his face. His movements were slow, like he wasn’t afraid of me.“We’ve been expecting you, Alpha,” he said, his voice calm and mocking. My fists clenched, my claws itching to tear into h

Rya’s POV I paced back and forth, my boots scuffing against the wooden floor. The ticking of the clock grew louder with each passing second, its rhythm drumming against my skull like a countdown. Frustration bubbled up in my chest, and I ran a hand through my hair. "Dammit,” I hissed under my breath. Flashback “Wait, hold up,” I said, raising my hands to stop her. “What did you just say?!” I demanded, my voice sharp with disbelief. She let out a long sigh, her hands gripping the edge of the table in front of her. “I got a call,” she began, her eyes flickering away from mine. He said he knows who killed the werewolves. He’s willing to help us prove Reagan’s Innocence.” My mouth fell open. For a moment, I could only blink at her, the words struggling to register. “That's obviously a trap,” I said, crossing my arms over my chest. “I know, but he sent a picture of the dead bodies. That means he could be the killer.” Her words sent a chill down my spine. I leaned closer, lowering

Guinevere's POVThe endless pacing had left me drained, my mind a whirlwind of frustration and determination. The sleepless night did nothing to dull the fire burning within me—I had to meet the caller. With Reagan missing and only four days until vindication with the council, I had no other choice. The burden fell on my shoulders. I was the daughter of the Crescent Moon Pack, and I could handle anything thrown my way.As I entered the abandoned warehouse, the air was thick with dust and dampness. The broken windows allowed slivers of moonlight to cast eerie shadows across the space. I scanned the room, my senses on high alert.Psychopaths and their love for abandoned warehouses, I thought bitterly.A voice emerged from the shadows, smooth but tinged with mockery. Guienevere's POVThis is insane, I thought as I paced the length of my room, the anxiety clawing at my chest like an unrelenting beast. How could everything be so calm? How could Reagan act as if his life wasn’t hanging by a thread? His nonchalance wasn’t just infuriating; it was maddening. Something wasn’t right. I felt it deep in my bones, an unshakable sense of dread that wouldn’t let me rest. If Reagan wasn’t going to take this seriously, then I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands. Without a second thought, I grabbed my coat and made my way to the Crescent Howl Pack. The journey felt both agonizingly long and painfully brief as my mind raced with all the possibilities. By the time I arrived, the sight of the familiar estate brought a wave of mixed emotions—relief, fear, and a touch of nostalgia. As I stepped into the pack house, my sister Gail ran up to me, wrapping me in a tight, almost suffocating hug. “Woah,” I said with a laugh, “didn’t know I was misse
