Guinevere's POV

It had been weeks since Reagan last spoke to me. Each day passed in agonizing silence, the weight of his absence pressing heavily on my chest. He carried on with his life, attending meetings, traveling for business concerning the pack, and yet... he never once looked at me. Not a glance, not a word. He made sure to avoid me entirely, no matter where we were, as though I no longer existed.

And for reasons I couldn’t explain, that emptiness, that void where his attention used to be, left my heart feeling stifled, as though something vital had been ripped away.
