Audrey's POV

I patted my hair as the calming breeze blew the trees and they responded, moving their branches and leaves side by side; some of the wild air got into my eyes and mouth but I neglected it.

My mind was fuzzy, and so I had gone out to get some fresh air and to clear my head.

I still felt quite sad about the whole news flying around the pack, and the thought of it alone made me think about running away.

A short gasp escaped my lips when I felt a sharp pain run up my chest: I’d been feeling it for a while now and couldn’t help but wonder if it was due to a heart ache or something else..
