She returned with her disfigured face and her parents were awestruck. She explained how the canteen attendant gave souvenirs to every member of staff and refused to give her.

“What do they have with you in that organization? Why won't he give you your own?”

“I don't know for him.”

“Is that why you fought?” Her mother asked her.

“No, Mom. I only asked him of my own and he slapped and pushed me down.”

“Ha! Pushed you down? Does he wish to kill you?”

“I don't know for him, Dad.”

“It is all right. You need to see a doctor,” her mother proposed but she would not want to see Dr. Robinson.

“Not at all, Mom. I will be fine.”

“It is all right. I maintain that you should be careful. You should have ignored the worthless souvenir.”

“It is not worthless, Mom. It is the one for Sgt. Young's little brother. I would have been remembering Samuel with ….”

She hardly completed her story before she began to cry and her parents were affected.
