Amante POV

The water temperature was freezing over. I walk my way deeper and found the abyss- Hirudinea Annelida Kingdom at the bottom of precipitous trenches. The light I saw turned out to be anything but a lamp. It was just a stone, a huge and shiny diamond to be exact, bright and forlorn on top of what seemed to be a castle made from glassy snow rocks.

Aside from that, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. There were no sounds, and only faint lights that were coming from some bioluminescent animals were the evidence of life in this barren place. The castle itself looks like a spooky building, with no fishes swimming around.

It was tranquil. No creatures around, or so I thought. I guess it’s my reality that I was not born under the water. My senses were dull and useless. I could not smell, hear, or feel anything but the coldness of the surroundings.
