“Hazel”

Lorelei froze, her eyes wide in shock as she heard the name.

“H.hazel?” She asks in a nervous tone. This was the first time I was seeing Lorelei look anything but comported.

“Yes,” I answered, my reply sounding like a question.

“She’s alive,” she muttered to herself, her fingers brushing through her hair in frantic movements.

“Is she well?” She asked, looking excited at the thought of Hazel.

I nodded my head to every question she asked. Each bringing more wide smiles to her face.
