ACE'S POV

I went all over the pack house in search of her but she wasn't seen. I was starting to get all worked up and I was sure it would only take the grace to keep me as calm as I would want to be. After searching for an hour or so, I returned to the house, pretty exhausted. My eyes flickered uncontrollably as I pondered on what to do. On one hand was Kyra who was so upset with me and had refused to speak to me, and then there's me who's also battling with my conscience.

"Hey! I'd like you to get me a glass of water!" I said to one of the maids I saw. I was thitsrt and knew the chances of my survival depended on how fast I was able to get water. I tapped my feet against the floor in great impatience as I waited for the maid to arrive. Almost a minute later and there was no sign of her.
