It had been over thirty days since the barrier was made and we remained inside. Rahl's guards where still out there, but my men had told me that Rahl had been absent for days.

I woundered where he could have gone to, maybe it was only their plans, he might actually be somewhere waiting for us to break the barrier , thinking maybe he was already gone.

How clever he must have been to want To fool us this way. Although I knew we might not be able to keep the barrier for so long, but I also knew it would be to our own food .

Food was already getting scarce , we only had feed on what we had in the pack and there was no means of getting any food and making certain trades outside the pack.The well was fast drying up and it would pose a problem if nothing was done about it quickly.

People were already hoarding the much they could with their money, but the ones from a lower class couldn't. When there is no food and water ,the next thing that would come up would be death.
