Alpha King's earlier stance.

I’m not too fond of the way her mother talks to me. She disrespects me. I’m seething when she tells me she knows my mate’s whereabouts but won’t disclose them. What kind of mother does that? Why won’t she tell me where my mate is staying?

“Look here, woman, tell me where my mate is staying, or you’ll face my rage,” I warn her.

“Alpha king, you’re not worthy of my daughter,” she smirks. “My baby girl deserves the best.”

I didn’t deserve her, did I? A woman is nothing to be proud of. They only know how to produce their mate’s pup. How dare she say I’m not worthy of her?

“I’m only accepting her because she has a wolf. Do you think your daughter is anything special?” I flare back. “Stop thinking highly of her. She doesn’t deserve me.”
