NIA'S POV

Today was the day and the fact that I was not shitting my pants was a miracle. A big one. While I knew that, had talked highly of Summer, his daughter, didn't all parents speak highly of their children? Even though they were brats, they were all perfectly behaved in the eyes of his/her parents.

"Are you ready?" Silas asked me as we sat in the garden. I held on to the edge of the seat for dear life, panting. "I could have said let's forget it all but you know I can't, it's you and me in here, and she's out there, I can't call it off now because she's gonna find out and it's gonna look like I am lying or that you don't exist. What do you want?"

"I mean... I think I should meet her, I want to meet her. You have spoken so highly of her and I have concluded knowing that I want to meet her. Where is this sweet summer? Can I meet her already?"
