Chapter Hundred and two

ELSA'S POV

Breakfast be damned. I woke up that morning ready to punch someone, specifically the Lycan king and his side piece. Both of them could take a fumble to the chin from me. If it wasn't treason, it would have been the first thing I sought this morning as I woke up.

"So I made some inquiries yesterday and found out the address of the guy that ships the gun, maybe he could give us some information about the people that made the gun in exchange for a little cash, that is how all these dirty worlds play now," Elton said and chuckled at his joke. He turned to me when he saw that there was no atom of laughter on my face, the concern came to his face like a plague.

"Are you okay? You seem a little bit off today. Did something happen? Or are you developing cold feet?"

"Am I supposed to answer all those questions?" I asked, and he smiled lightly making me smile. "And no, definitely no cold feet. Just having an off morning and feeling like an idiot."
