Chapter Eighty-two

NIA'S POV

I had not promised not to tell Arthur and I wouldn't have. If Elsa was being threatened then Arthur had to know if it was, no matter the problem or issue. 

"Can we change the topic now? I'm not comfortable with us talking about this thing anymore."

"Okay. Fine. Have you talked with Elton so far?" I asked and Elsa rolled her eyes, then averted her gaze. Scooting over to pull the buckle of her gold sandals that looked perfectly fine in my eyes. It was a diversion from the topic. Ever since my opening-up night with Silas, Elsa had been avoiding or worse, acting as though Elton did not exist and it didn't sit right with me. With each passing day, it started to feel like I didn't know her the way I would vouch I did when asked and it bugged me.
