Mason’s POV

"Alpha, we've got a bit of a problem," Will exclaims as he rushes in, clearly flustered.

"What's the situation?" I hastily stand up, preparing for any possible disorder.

“Clark has been detained by Narny at the school, as they investigate allegations of pack member abuse.” Will scans the room as he relays this information.

"Wait a minute, are you telling me that there's an Elder here on our pack lands? That's news to me," I say, my tone tinged with irritation. It's obvious that Cameron is involved in this situation, and I can't help but wonder what else he's been keeping from us.

Suddenly, a loud knock resonates through the room, causing everyone to turn their attention towards the door. Without hesitation, Narny strides into the office, firmly shutting the door behind them. Their face is etched with anger as they position themselves directly in front of the closed door, demanding an explanation. "Do you have any intention of enlightening me as to why a member of our

Skyler’s POV "Wake up, Skyler! We have to leave in twenty minutes, or you'll be late for school," Mom shouts as she clangs her pots and pans together. "Ugh, I'm on my way," I mutter while I finally finish running a brush through my hair and neatly braiding it. Dragging myself out of bed, I can't help but feel anxious about starting at a new school. The thought of being bullied and ostracized by my peers makes me want to crawl back under the covers. I wish I could have stayed where I was, where at least I knew what to expect. Now, I have to navigate new classes, new teachers, and a whole new environment. It's overwhelming and I can't help but let out a frustrated scream. As I made my way to the kitchen, the weight of the impending change settled heavily on my shoulders. The familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, mingling with the soft clinking of silverware as my parents prepared breakfast. I took a seat at the table, my mind swirling with a mix of anxiety and frus

Skyler’s POV With a smile on her face, a stunning girl confidently declares, "Hey, you're occupying my spot." "Oh no, I can't believe I did that!" I quickly stand up, feeling a rush of nerves coursing through me, fully aware that this new school experience was not going to be any different from my previous ones. "Haha, just kidding! No worries, none of the chairs are reserved. By the way, I'm Trina. And you must be Skyler, right?" she says with a friendly smile, taking a seat beside me. Wow, I can't believe it! You're Neo's sister! I can't help but smack my forehead in disbelief for not realizing it sooner. Trina gives me a puzzled look and then suddenly has a realization. "Oh my goodness, you're Beta Cameron's daughter! I can't believe I didn't recognize you right away. It's been ages since I last saw you. It seems like whenever you and your parents are around, I'm always busy socializing and flitting around like a social butterfly." "Hold on. Do you guys have a history togethe

Skyler’s POV “You don't have to share with us right away! That's perfectly fine. However, I want you to understand that we will never reject you just because you are unique.” Trina says with a warm smile. “I appreciate your concern, but this is something that my parents have always emphasized as a private matter not to be shared with anyone. It holds a significant importance to them, and I have respected their wishes by keeping it to myself.” I say sadly, looking away. Then we start chatting and laughing, and I realize that this is what life is all about. It's not about being popular or fitting in. It's about finding people who accept you for who you are and who make you feel good about yourself. Not only that, but it's about being part of a friend circle, a group of people who share your interests and values. As the lunch bell rings again, signaling the end of our break, I feel a sense of sadness. I don't want this moment to end. But I know that there will be other moments lik

Neo’s POV "Alpha, Alaric, has just arrived and is currently on his way to the pack-house," the border patrol officer informs me through our established mind link as I get ready to venture outside. Just as I spot Alaric making a beeline towards me, I quickly retort, "I'm actually on my way to meet him." "Hello there! It's been such a long time since we last saw each other," I exclaim with a warm smile as I reach out to shake his hand. Alaric lets out a chuckle, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "So, what's the exact issue that brought me here?" he asks, his curiosity piqued. “Cameron reached out to me a few nights ago with an urgent call, informing me about a distressing incident that occurred while he and his daughter were training on my property. Shockingly, they were attacked by a group of rogues. However, Cameron displayed immense bravery and managed to eliminate their leader, causing the remaining assailants to scatter in fear.” I sigh. “Curiosity piqued. I couldn't help

Neo’s POV "Alpha Neo, I am sorry that Alaric could not help, but he tells me that I need to take a look." Marcelina greets as she walks up to us with a few of her scientists. "Sure, come with me," I respond, leading the way back into the dark cave. The sight of lifeless bodies strewn across the floor fills me with a nauseating sensation, threatening to make me sick once more. "Hey Neo, could you do me a favor and step out of the cave for a moment? Once we're finished with our investigation, I'll join you," Marcelina requests, her attention momentarily diverted as she engages in conversation with one of the scientists. "Of course," I respond, exiting the building and breathing in the rejuvenating air. The odor is not from the rogues, and it sends shivers down my back. "Neo, would it be possible for us to return to your office and have a conversation?" Marcelina inquires, her tone laced with a hint of urgency. "Is everything alright?" I inquire, noticing her sense of urgency. "L

Mason’s POV "Will, what's it like being a principal?" I ask with a grin, knowing full well that he despises school. However, he's the most qualified candidate available at the moment, so he's taken on the role despite his distaste for it. Alpha, your sense of humor is on point today!" he retorts with a hint of sarcasm. “Everything is running smoothly on my end. We can talk later. I have a student coming to the office.” "Hey Cameron, I was wondering if you have a moment to spare or if you could swing by my office. No rush, just whenever you're available," I politely inquire. "Hey, Alpha! I was actually heading over to have a chat with you," he says, wrapping up his sentence just as he reaches my door. Without wasting a moment, he knocks on the door and swiftly enters, closing it behind him. Taking a seat right in front of me, he settles down and prepares for our conversation. "Tomorrow night's Tamsin moon is just around the corner, and we need to start preparing for it. It's impor

Mason’s POV As I roll over in bed, I let out a groan and fumble around my nightstand in search of my ringing phone. After a few seconds of blindly patting around, I finally manage to grab it and hit the answer button. I bring the phone up to my ear and say, “Hello?” “Hey, whereabouts are you at the moment? We're having a massive bash at the club before the Tamsin moon tonight, and you're nowhere to be seen,” Quinton inquires. “Oh Shit! I can't believe I forgot about it. I'm still in bed,” I mutter as I roll over and sit up, rubbing my face to wake myself up. Glancing at the clock, I realize it's only nine in the morning. “I wonder if the club has already started bustling with activity?” Absolutely, our establishment is bustling with activity and the VIP Lounge is brimming with guests. It would be highly advantageous for you to make your way here promptly!” Quinton exclaims with urgency. “Although I have a few tasks to attend to, I am willing to wait for you downstairs until you ar

Skyler’s POV As I wake up, I am suddenly hit with excruciating pain that causes me to scream out loud. In my agony, I roll over and lose control of my stomach, vomiting all over the floor. My parents, alerted by my cries, rush into the room and immediately come to my aid. They comfort me and try to assess the situation, doing everything in their power to alleviate my pain and discomfort. I couldn't understand why my clothes suddenly felt so tight. I had worn this outfit before, and it had never caused me any discomfort. But now, it felt like every inch of fabric was constricting me, squeezing me in a vice-like grip. I tried to take deep breaths, but the pressure on my chest made it difficult to do so. As the sensation intensified, I began to panic. I felt like I was suffocating, like the clothes were slowly crushing me. I tried to tug at the fabric, to loosen it somehow, but it was no use. It was like the clothes had a life of their own, and they were determined to strangle me. T
